It would definitely be worth chatting to Simon at Meteor Motorsport for advice on damper set up. Very helpful as I believe a lot of members have found. A flat floor set up would also be a good idea to achieve the best results if you do indeed replace them. Kind regards PGM

Out of interest do you guys and girls use the wrist straps that the track cars use?

We have been repacking the front wheel bearings especially on new cars for years now. Seems to be a very common issue.

Unfortunately we have seen this happen before but usually on race cars. We did have one in recently that caused significant damage to the prop-shaft, gearbox mounting and engine mountings. That is very unusual and the car was being used for a standing start at the time. Even with all that damage the differential was still ok. It is worth checking the mounting bolts regularly.
