  7. Me too, not every time but at least twice a month.
  8. Hi Mark, have a fab time and see you in Filey soon. loflmands. *wavey* *wavey* *wavey* *wavey*
  9. Suitable for a 7 or a LOTUS. A past AO has this available on retention. If it is of interest please blatmail me and I will pass on the message. He has no idea of value but if you are interested he is a nice man to talk to. I leave it with you.
  10. If you get the wheel off the ground and get an assistant to press the brake pedal and the play goes it would tend to indicate that the bearing is 'US'.
  11. Have a look at: Any tips on suspension set-up? 15 March 2011 as this has Peter's method in it.
  12. Hi P, I have the same car as you (No 27) and am now on my 3rd dry sump. I have tried to get it so that a wine bottle will nearly roll under the sump. Besides using the adjustable platforms I have put some washers under the engine mounts so this will raise the engine a few mm. Make sure the bonnet will still go on without rubbing. The rake is said to be 15mm but the build manual shows this for live axle cars and 35mm for de dion ones. I have 30mm with no passengers in the car which I think will be close to 15mm when the two of us are in. As far as the parallel wishbones are concerned I have not found any one who can tell me how to measure this. The inner front wishbone mountings are not in the same plane so they are never parallel to the road. There is a recent link to a DIY flat floor set up that is worth a read. I will try and find it and point you at it. Hope this helps a little.
  13. Hi LoveBoot, just seen your posts. Off to Filey in the morning but back in a weeks time if you need a slightly more able body to help. Obviously only with car related problems, your on your own for 'bathroom' assistance. Don't worry about getting 'told off' on here, I have been as well several times, seems to go with the territory. Just chill in the knowledge --------------------. 😶‍🌫️ lots of love m and s 🥰 ps Cracoe meeting this evening.
  14. Just check where the roll bar mounts just behind the seats. I seem to remember that my first Caterham had the number there. Failing that just ask Arch, they should know the answer.
  15. Have a look at the switch. Swap the 'left' and 'right' wires round on the switch. If the opposit indicator ceases to work it is likely the switch. Final check is to miss the switch out and touch each connector directly. If the both work OK it is deff the switch. If you have some contact cleaner spray try it on the switch and work it in by switching the switch back and forth. May take while to get in down the toggle. If no contact cleaner try WD40, not ideal but may just clean it up inside. If the switch is OK the relay is next in line. Give it a sharp tapping to try and activate it for starters but my money is on the switch at the moment. Have even more fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Do the hazards work on all bulbs? If not likely earth problem. If they do likely switch or relay. Every little helps. 🥰
  17. If you have a metre you could check if you have 12v at the bulb holder by earthing to the chassis. If you have it is likely to be an earth problem. If you trace the wire back you will find the connector from the main loom near the clamps for the main indicator pods. Having located this you can repeat the test at this point. If all is not well there I would next have a check at the switch on the dash. Good luck, in Filey at the moment so can not offer my limited skills in person. Where is the MOT being done? You could remove both repeaters as a last resort but if you do this ensure the wires are separate and covered. Just tank tape them to the underside of the wing. I do not have repeaters on mine and have never had a problem at MOT time.
  18. Not yet, but sale going through so fingers crossed should all be over by May. Will let you know when it happens, regards m.
  19. If you have a washer the same size as the poprivet you can put this on the rear of the scuttle and then put the poprivet through the alli and the washer. It will then pull up on the washer and make a secure fastening. Only use this on flat surfaces. If on a curve get some ally and drill then bend roughly to the shape and do same as above. Hope you mend soon, did you 'fall off' or were you pushed? Regards M
  20. Me 2, you never stop learning till you die 😶‍🌫️
  21. So where do I put my spirit level to check that 'the lower wishbone is parallel to the ground' ? The front mounting and rear mountings are not in the same plane. Or am I missing something?
