He he, that is bonkers - they're in the NE of scotland - 15 miles north of Aberdeen, so delivery comes from Comma, up to Inverurie, than back down to Surrey for less than your local place This is stuff I use. Edited by - Philip on 17 May 2011 21:35:22
  3. Thought this had something to do with Easter 😬
  4. What is the standard ride hieght/sump clearance for a '98 SLR ? I read 70-80mm sump clearance (I've just had the sump replaced ) and 12-15mm rake, front to rear (behind front wings / in front of rear wings) and in some notes, lower wishbones parallel to road - what does this translate to as ride height on the chassis rails ? Have read tips, but not sure. Car is mainly road use, but gets a few outings to Knockhill.
  5. I'm sorry, but I was taught that Four Sevens are 28, not 271 .....
  6. Mine looked different that those. You can see them in the full kit (orange): linky Why don't you call Darren or Tony ? They'll keep you right Edited by - Philip on 16 Apr 2011 15:57:25
  7. It's usually mileage based, but it's cheap insurance (unless budget is an issue).

plus postage Pop round to your local motor factors for these Sierra pads 😬
  9. Can you not clean the old filter ? Have CC run out of supplies of the filter ?
  10. They're standard fit for Elises at the moment. Must be OK for Lotus to spec them on a lightish car - check the DOT coding ...
  11. I had the same issue last year (2004 fronts, ~4mm) and found that in the warm weather (and on track) they were fine (not sure I could say that a newer set would be grippier). I never had the rears long enough for them to get old I've got two sets of new ones all round now, but not the weather to enjoy them. Dayglo Yellow / Carbon Superlight R No.29 (VHPD)
