Sorry... forgot to mention it is a 51 plate. Whilst I live (actually only been home 2 nights in 3 weeks) in Edinburgh, I work all over so am in W Yorks almost weekly and in the SE (Henley / Richmond area) fortnightly, thus in principle could deliver the car or could do a deal on a one way low cost flight if the car was bought.

Honda Accord 1.8i VTECH S 4 door saloon, black, 51,000 miles, FHSS (Ok just bought myself another tintop so car must go... now at 52k miles) Does what it says on the tin. Family ownership since new. Low cost runner with usual Honda relaibility. Taxed and Mot's until end Nov but can do a deal with new MOT and TAX. I inherited this and after having a Saab 9-3 TD as my tin top before I really need a more suitable car to tow from. I'm not even going to try towing with the Honda... and waste cash on a tow bar. I have a buckled black finished 13" minator with a 175/55/13 CR500s I need a replacement - black coated with silver rim (Caterham standard) any condition so long as its true, with or without tyre. Am prepping for GomE rally in 3 weeks and can probably collected between Edinburgh and London this week... Anyone got one? If not a silver coated would do I guess! I can see the ring gear and it looks OK... not sure what the difference is between Bendix or a pre-engaged, though guessing it is the former, i.e. when you start the cog moves out to engage with the ring gear.... My Sylca Phoenix has a Ford CVH built by Procomp Motorsport mated to a Cortina gearbox with TranX 4-speed, straight-cut, close-ratio gears - the issue is the starter.... i took the old one off... together with "spacer" (a nut and three extra washers), new one fitted fine, started OK, warmed the car up, drove it 500 m / 5 minutes... tried to restart and now it has a mix of "whirrs" and K series cluncks.... any ideas ???? I have tried refitting spacers, nut no washers, one washer etc etc... I have spent hours on this and its getting to me! (look at the time - I'm just out the garage! ANY / ALL ADVICE WELCOME!
