  13. I am selling up - and have the contents of a 2 bed flat in W London to empty. Before I call a "man with a van"..... All kit is in good or very good condition and was purchased by a very wealthy American tenant from John Lewis (£5k + worth), so it is all good stuff - main issue I have to have the furnishings out by the 19th November.... Anyone in the buy to let business who wants to do me a deal Or have a son / daughter they need to furnish a property for? I can send photos of furnishings - not interested in part lots, single items but contents include: All items marked *, ** or *** match each other in design Hall cupboard* Double bed with iron headboard Twin matching side tables* Twin matching lamps Chest of drawers* Leather sofa Two cane chairs Cane magazine rack Coffee table, iron legs with inlaid stone top Table with 4 chairs and cushions** Serving / side table** Black double bookcase Pine book case Various lamps, pictures and mirrors Rattan trunk*** Rattan chest of drawers*** Rattan bedside table*** Richard, aka... 16. I have Comma Xstream red longlife in Mutley (K series)... I don't know if it is the concentrated or ready to use variety. The reason I ask is that I thought I had a leak.... header tank was dry and some residue on garage floor after I took the car off my trailer after a 400 mile tow, this afternoon I added c. 1 litre of water thinking it was going to drain straight out (and hence show me where the leak is) but no leak after bringing the car up to temperature.... oil is clean, head gasket appears Ok etc etc... think it was simply either underfilled during a recent coolant replacement or a leak from a silicon hose whilst on the back of the trailer...... So questions are: If its concentrated... what is the mix proportions? If I have added 1 litre of water to concentrate or ready to use... should I drain and top up... but if I top up what shall I top up with... or should I just flush out and start again.... bear in mind I am v sad and like Mutley to have exactly the right ingredients to a happy existence! 😬 thanks Richard, aka... 17. And the house feels that much lighter without them Myles... only regret is that I have recycled my entire Evo collection from 001 to current.... Now on to the next collection: Yachtings mags... though compared to my father who has one publishers copies (Y&Y'ing) since he worked for them in the '50's I guess I have the easy job... until the 80's-90's they published twice monthly i.e. c.850 copies! 18. Dave, if your colleague wants to deal with the trade then speak to Nick Brewster at http://www.rpm-morgan.co.uk/ Don't worry about location as he is used to covering the UK. I should add that he is a friend, but I have bought 4 tintops sourced by him and am also a happy customer. Richard, aka... Tricks... aka darstardly Y57 CDS Known as Mutley Q205 BNN Sylva Phoenix
  19. OK learned people, does anyone know a suitable company in the Newbury area who could so this for us... Mate and I are off in his car (well he did blow my Phoenix up at Mallory ) to the 2008 GoME a week today and we're about to put a quick rack into a Striker and assuming we don't get it right in respect to alignment who could do this well in this area... experience tells me that the Kwik fits of the world may not be suitable for a kit car... 21. thanks all for comments - I plan to follow Johnty's advice and fit 1155's on the front and the standard CC upgrade at rear... I did think about Pagid's etc, but for the cost and driving type I don't see the requirement... as for the Phoenix, which is more track focus'd it requires new front disks (pad down to metal on GoME 2007 damaged disk)so will significantly upgrade stopping power with decent pads probably Pagid's at the same time. 22. I have done extensive searches on the archives, there are so many views on Mintex vs Pagid Vs Ferrodo etc, as Mutley is mainly road used I am opting for Mintex 1144's however one question is not answered on archives that I can find.... I have CC upgraded 4 pot AP front, standard 2 pot rears on a 2001 SL spec car with standard CC pads. I want to fit Mintex M1144's at the front - not sure of what to do with rears. I can't find the right Mintex part number for the front - is it MGB533 M1144. What would you do on the rears - most view standards as OK, or should I fit 1144's there too? thanks Richard, aka...
