Hi Graham, Try removing cable from the megajolt box. This should default timming advance to 10 degrees. If then starts better you have to much advance at cranking or idle revs. I do this when weather is very cold.It also runs with less noise if you have bad neighbours. Richard

Hi Mike, i have used them long time ago not the fastest but very good. The exhaust will still tarnish more so if gets wet.I have given up trying to keep exhaust in good condition. The is what is outside of factory. Give them a bell and get a pickup date from them, they used to be very busy. -

Hi, Thats correct, left over from live axle. Think this changed about 1990 to normal bolt. This is not a bad setup as uses through dedion lower bolt,has not broken yet but only 21 years old. 😬 richard Edited by - richardm57 on 16 May 2009 11:33:07

Hi Geoff, Am interested, also have been thinking about Hi-spec as they would not be much more than twice the price of new std calipers. But have just bought new mintex pads mgb535 in 1144 for the std calipers. pm me when ready but i need sooner rather than later. thanks from richard

Need good condition front and rear calipers. Rear shock absorbers for early dedion they have vertical top fitting, maybe fronts as well. These have leaks (well they are 21years old.) thanks richard

Hi Alex. The original wishbones on my 1988 dedion came as std type. Did fit the negative camber ones they have an N stamped next to where the trunnion fits. Think these were same as la. Do not know if number 3 has taper rubbers or as the later metalastic bush type. I am in the process of fitting the non trunion type wishbones which can be done wthout chassis mods. But it means making hole in body larger. richard
