I appreciate that this is a difficult one to answer but maybe you can give me a guideline. I do around 3,000 miles a year including 4 enthusiastically driven trackdays in my Duratech engined R400 on 13" Avon CR500's. Three 14" Minator/Minilite wheels for sale, all with Avon ZV1 tyres. One of the wheels is in good condition. One has a minor scratch. One has a dent from being kerbed. Hi, I have an R400 which came with 13" wheels fitted. I have a spare set of 14" wheels which I would like to use. Apart from making the speedo inaccurate, is there any reason why I should not use 14" wheels on the car ? Thanks to anyone who replies.

I need a set of very cheap 14" wheels for a de Dion axle Roadsport for doughnutting and general messing around at Dunsfold. Cosmetic condition or minor damage is irrelevant but they must not be unsafe. I can collect up to 30 miles around Guildford.

Bookatrack have a trackday at Brands on March 13. It is not a Caterham only event but looking at the list, about 99% of the cars registered are 7s

Heavy Duty Velcro IS DEFINATELY the answer for front and back number plates. I have tried everything else including Superglue.

I am about to buy some new wheels, for use on road and track. I would appreciate some guidance regarding the pros and cons of 13" vs 14" please. (My wife said she would go for the 14" option but I'm not convinced she was talking about wheels.) Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.

Thanks for your responses everyone. I have now ruled out Toyo 888s because of the manufacturer's warning about either storing or using them in freezing conditions as I do both. I was also considering Yokohama A048s but one person said they tramline - has anyone else found that ? One or two people have recommended Avon ACB10's. or Yokohama 021s so I''m more confused that ever! Does anyone know anything either great or terrible about the Yoko's or the Avon to help me make a decision ?
