no choppers left--the choppers were crap any way,have melted several. but works very well useing lumenition chopper system,or at least mine does tools and bdg

the bdr engine would at least have semi-hard valve seat inserts as would all alloy heads. the std crossflow seats would be machined in the soft cast iron head. so you cannot compare these two types off seats. would sugest you use something in fuel for peace of mind. tools and bdg.

most cast wheels have holes in them. spray thick 2 pack paint on surface where tyre fits as when new.

do not fit tubes,most tubless tyres have moulding ribbs inside which can wear though the tube.

have been useing silicone fluid since new 1988 in my cat. and have this week removed the front caliper pistons [1st time in 33,000 miles] they are in perfect condition, the only rust is on caliper outboard of rubber seal this was causing sticking. the brake pedal has always been very hard.have never had any bleeding problems thumbs up from me. tools and bdg

the block is 4 bolt mains and made of nodular iron [crankshaft material] and is about 30lbs heaver than stock block. bore is quite large- 100mm. 120 made. i would have liked to keep the spare parts to build an engine to fit in capri, i think this would make nice road car but potential buyer wants all the spares i have. from richard tools&bdg

thanks for reply. i have a potential buyer for engine and the spare engine parts. but i would have liked to keep car as is as this took me much effort to build. this engine was originaly built for capri for european touring car championship about 1972. will keep you in mind if deal fails. engines go for £5k plus.

dragster rail rear engine 206" w.b. dennis priddle body, cosworth gaa 3.4ltr 4 valve dohc belt drive, 450hp+150hp nitros on pump petrol,f5000 cams ea1 inlet more lift etc. f1 exhaust. slider clutch, chrysler 727 clutchflite auto box, b&m valve body. westminster alloy diff- rear end. 3" belts. et. 8.6- 160 mph not used since 1985. chassis only suitable nostalgic races or rwyb. fully enclosed trailer needs tlc/ any interest with witjout engine. surrey-west sussex border tools&bdg

used mobil 1 in bdg worn out in 4000 miles.Valvoline 20/50 racing 25000 miles just changed shells which were in g/condition.rings u/s which i knew, bores v/good condition.i think this is the best for old design engines.
