  1. Thanks Ian, I wanted to remove the pins from the old plate rather than cut them off, you never know.......
  2. Evening gents. Just fitting JAL rear LED lights. Just the card and cable. I've got the wiring terminals right, but how do you get the terminals out of the existing male socket? And I see that the lens cover retaining screws fix to the original galv backplate, so with the new card in place how does the lense get fitted? Do I put the new card on top of the old galv backplate after stripping off the old bulb holders etc? TIA
  3. I'm after a single KN alloy wheel as photo, if anyone has a spare please let me know. Happy to take with or without a tyre, obviously the better the condition is, the better it is for me. Thanks Peter G (based in Lymington, but often up in Hertfordshire)
  4. Hello Chris, do you still have the brackets? If so I'll happily take them. Thanks Will also send Blatmail.
  5. Hi there, I've just sent you a message re some wheels I have.
  6. Marvellous. Thanks chaps.
  7. Can anyone advise what car the track rod ends come from for a standard S3 narrow track rack from 2000?
  8. An update on lubrication from Titan, the current advice is to use a good Molybdenum grease for the track rods onto the rack ends and Castrol Spheerol EPL2 for the rack itself, the original Spheerol MPT2 is now no longer available it seems. I ordered the Spheerol from Opie oils using the clubs helpful but modest discount.

Spotted Steve Hubbard in GJT in Maylands area Hemel Hempstead this morning. Cars looking good Steve.
  11. I got mine from Earshot Communications. A google search will find them. I'd consider an upgrade on headsets if I were you. I've just changed mine into better quality Peltors. A fiddly job but worth it.
  12. Thanks chaps, just the answer I was after. Tried to reply to this from Android phone, wouldn't do it.
  13. I have play in my steering rack, and Ive read the archive threads on this topic. I've now got the Caterham repair kit, but it doesn't include the nylon bushes that could be the culprit. Can anyone confirm if the Titan Elise rack bush will definitely, 100% fit the Caterham rack? I'm aware of the arrangements with Titan/Caterham, and I dont feel like paying an arm and a leg for a new rack when a few more quids worth of parts could do the job. TIA PG
  14. It might be helpful to indicate where you are in the UK, and a price?
  15. Just do it, I love the fact that every Caterham is different. I did mine a few years ago from a Vauxhall Silver to a bright orange, as I felt the car was just about invisible on the road. If I were to do it again, I'd have the roll bar painted to match as being a bit higher it adds to the visibility. Let us see some photos when It's done.
  16. My MXS does this sometimes on my old fashioned lead acid Banner battery. Like others say putting it on a traditional battery charger usually does the trick. Another time I've had to jump start it as it seems the battery gets stuck in its charging cycle. Whenever I leave it unused for a few days or weeks I now disconnect both battery terminals. The battery will come in the house this winter. Banners are notoriously short lived if not used very regularly so I'd like this one to last another year if poss.
  17. Just to add to this and to save a new post, Eurocarparts latest email has Wynns E10 protector and I was wondering if anyone had used it or could provide any narrative on this or other additives effectiveness?
  18. Whats the 0-60 time of this one??
  19. Thanks for the reply. Message sent.
  20. Hello. I'd be happy to take this off your hands please if by standard seats you mean leather ones not tillets?
