  1. And a space for me please, Chris. Paul
  2. Hi Roger, YHM Best regards Paul
  3. Hello Rob, Add me to the list too, please. Thanks, Paul
  4. And one place for me please. I really must get the entry in now; it's a long way to go for a garage space and a night out. Paul
  5. Please save a garage space for me too, Chris. And i'll be entering the event, so i can put it to good use. Thanks, Paul
  6. Thank you Geoff, we'd be glad to see you even if you didn't have the hi-viz. To everyone else, if you have held a long-held urge to to dress in orange dayglo, this is a great chance to indulge. Marshalling also could provide the rare opportunity to point and laugh at fellow sprinters, should they exceed the track limits. If you haven't marshalled before, there will be basic instructions given on the day, and it really does give an appreciation of the work done by the army of volunteers who allow us to compete safely. New arrival!

    Congratulations Oli, and family! Paul
  8. Chris, Please count me in - there is always the remote possibility of rain in Wales. As always, thanks for organizing this. Paul
  9. Sadly joining the Jeff S club - i've withdrawn my entry to Goodwood after being a bit careless with a Stanley knife (quite seriously damaged my left hand). Right now, not only can i not drive the Caterham or the old Merc, but many other daily mundane tasks are beyond me. What a pest. Hopefully, surgery on Thursday will be the start of a return to normality. So, Mr. Cumming you may get an entry after all! Good luck to you all for Saturday. Paul
  10. Please put my name on a space. Thanks for sorting this, Chris. Paul
  11. Graham, Please put me down for a place. Thanks, Paul
  12. My thoughts are that we should run classes 2 and 3 at 155bhp for 2015, but then go to 150bhp for class 2 and 160 for class 3 in 2016. I take Alan's point about allowing TBs to fitted to anything, but I really can't support this. By all means let in cars that had them as OE, but for these classes, I see this as a mod (and therefore expense) too far. Paul
  13. My thoughts on some of the points: Edward Lewis - No strong feelings, but the Bowler (hat) proposal has my vote. Stickers - Next years sticker will need to be at least as big as this years, as despite the usual precautions, it has taken yet more paint off the bonnet. Fully agree that we should support the sponsors and carry the stickers, though. Number of runs - Let's stay with the No Limit rule. Adds another variable to the day's competition. Responsible Adult - Chris gets my vote. Thanks. Paul
  14. So ..... now it's out. The Hat is none other than Alan Bowler. As I revealed earlier in the season, this ruthless individual will stop at nothing to achieve dominance in Class 2. He is now even going as far as to drive faster and gain better times to reach his ambition. And, as I suspected, he is intending to storm Anglesey, another Welsh venue, to try to stake his claim to victory. However, I refuse to believe that The Hat and Ray Snoates are the same person. The article in Low Flying is far too well crafted and lucid. No, as far as I'm concerned, Mr Snoates remains elusive. However, The Hat must be pegged at all costs. Paul
  15. Richard, Finals email has arrived, and mentions that passes will follow by post. I'll arrange something with you when they arrive. Paul
  16. Congratulations - great news! Paul
  17. Hmmm.... call me sceptical, but.... despite the appearance of 'lucky sunhat' having a life of it's own, I suspect that this is a ruse to divert attention from the ruthless individual beneath. Still, there might be something in it. I can't imagine anyone wearing headgear like that without good reason Paul
  18. Unmasked - or de-hatted. Paul
  19. 'The Hat' - very good 😬 Mind how you go! Paul
  20. Having now had chance to study the footage of Andrew Willoughby's spin, I think it can be attributed to something more than just driver error 😬 I have reason to believe that Andrew was lucky to escape another attack from a Hit Squad, sent by a fellow competitor. A well-aimed squirt of lubricant from the bushes could easily have caused that unexpected loss of grip. I myself averted disaster on Saturday night when I was tipped-off to a plan to set light to my pop-up tent! I also intercepted several messages purporting to be from Surrey police and Caterham cars, attempting to discourage me from competing on Sunday. Andrew's success may now mean that he has become the target for this man's ruthless quest to achieve domination in Class 2. We must all be vigilant - he will stop at nothing. I suggest that we join forces to prevent this. I am working on a strategy to disrupt his evil plans - I can't say too much, but it will target his main area of vulnerability - his lucky sun hat. We will strike at Curborough. Be prepared
  21. Yes, please. Closer to the time, we should organise who brings the kettle, microwave, sound system etc.. Paul Collins
