i bought my helmet from demon tweeks about 4 years ago, only having used it to go round Curborough on private days. A total of 8-10 times. the strap has started to thread away. it still tightens up, and does the job it's supposed to do. my question is, can another strap be sewn in it's place, or would this invalidate the fire resistance. am i being too tight to replace it, as it only gets used a hand full of times. i understand that i only have one head, and for the cost of another lid. Dick, can you tell me how noisey your first exhaust was pumping out. presuming you had the standard one. i've got the standard one and i'm hoping to get on at Oulton, which is 105db static. Duratec is the way forward!!

seems i was right to dismiss it then. my temp reads max 90degrees when giving it a little grief, normal driving shows anything from 75-86, depending whether the sun's out, quite often this week. spoke to a mechanic today, he mentioned that they do a coolant that is supposed to be better for higher temperatures (racing). apparently he races M3's and they use it in them. has anybody heard about this product is it suitable for the 7 (Duratec) or is this normal mechanic speel? how many miles would you normally expect these to last? i had my car MOT'd yesterday by Robin in Stratford on Avon as recommended by BC, very helpful. He pointed out the front n/s wheel has a tiny amount of play. The car has less than 4k miles on the clock. he thought it might be the sperical joint on the suspension upright. however looking through the archives it seems wheel bearings are more likly to be the problem. upon taking the front wheel off to clean prior to Stoneleigh(sad, i know) the hub cap has alot of grease compared to none on the o/s. is this just confirming the problem, and cause of the play. YES it did pass, don't know how. the headlights are miles out and can't adjust by undoing the nut under the light. the front number plate was promptly cut off as soon as round the corner, as every little counts in the weight department 😬 Duratec is the way forward!!

how much oil should come out of the breather i have quite a lot of oil all on the off side part of the diff. have wiped it off previously, and inspected, it appears to be coming from the breather pipe. if it were overfilled how long should it still be coming out Duratec is the way forward!!

i've got two 6" and two 7" you can have, they need tidying up, free to a good home. forgot to say they are bright greenish. and they don't fit if you have got big brakes. FOC Duratec is the way forward!!

posted earlier this month........not me again. i'm a wimp, don't go out unless the wife lets me .........sorry unless the roads are dry, on account of my inability to keep it on the road. you wouldn't believe i've only ever spun it once, on the road.......loads at curborough, despite it being so short, yes even i can spin it there 🙆🏻 🙆🏻 Duratec is the way forward!!
