  1. Firstly you need to see if you are using the oe stem seLs which are readily available as a set green inlet black exhaust. However not all double springs are compatible.with oe seals some.use smaller versions which push onto the top of the guide as opposed to the oe hattype where the brim is trapped by the spri g.
  2. .......removes the sulpur smell often associated with cats once there are lit, instead this offers a hint of garlic.....
  3. the bypass stat is a better option using the 82degree land rover stat, simple and very effective.
  4. You can get ABS versions from YC plastics in South Wales... speak to Steve.
  5. Find yourself a Sierra Haynes manual ots covered well in there..
  6. sadly I would need surgery ontop of my current pie reduction program to get in a Medium.....
  7. I opted for OMP GP-R since this uses the Bell shell and comes with HANS mounts as standard, DT very very helpfull and we get a discount too.
  8. There are mant good RR operators around, if your looking to run an Emerald ECU then take it over to Dave Walker at Emerald, the very latest MAHA single roller set up with massive amounts of experience. unless RR's are regularly checked and calibrated then accurate comparable figures are not reliable, there are too many variables and operators can manipulate the numbers to artificailly inflate them by various means. when used correctly they will accurately measure the wheel torque over a predetermined acceleration run and then using a run down phase in order to measure the tranamission losses to offer a flywheel figure. large diameter single rollers like the MAHA are accepted to be more accurate than the old industry standard twin roller SUN RAM 1212 small twin tollers which served many companies well for decades. but they only measure whats there on the day, they are a tuning tool, theres no magic involved, temperatures etc can and do vary these numbers, chose a reputable company with skill and knowedge of your ECU and you won't go far wrong
  9. the fobs are pretty reliable, theres nothing but a chip in them, a common problem in the immobilser not disarming is the small white plug in the aerial loom workes loose and the pins loose contact, clip the plug out and solder the wires, they aren't polarity sensitive and then ensure the aerial is in a loop making it easier to to waft the fob underneath, CC wrappedsome aroundthe coloumn making disarming a littel hit and miss.
  10. I run stock Ford OE mains with ACL race big ends... never seen any issues with the mains when stripped.
  11. If you haven't already.got.them.worth changing the rear rigid line to the calipers for a flexible too
  12. Thread files, both imperial and metric are well worth buying.....
  13. There are many fuel types and many operteraing pressures and pplications, its don to the person fitting them to ensure the hose and application are correct for one another, you cant blame the hose manufacturers for that, providing you use a quality product which meets these requirements you should have no problems, OEM often use semi rigid plastic lines preformed to shape, though these are no imune form issue, crackingQR ends and chaffing in not correctly restrainded in clips, no doubt these are cheaper to. Fuel ines are no different to and other hose, or rubber component, my original coolant hoses supplied by CC in 2006 lasted 5 months before 3 showed heavy degredation, both steering rack boots are now under 2 years old now and both need replacing.... all components are avaialble at multiple price points and quality levels.
  14. we used to have a reply to this post button, which gave clarity to what post the latest comments were relating too and also the posts were numbered - both seem to have gone could we have these back please
  15. click on the link in my last post ( why aren't the posts numbered anymore??) and you see the fuel injection version is 225psi, you probalby looked a a low pressure R14 hose
  16. Gates 4219BF is the one you need I bought a 25' roll from Parts in motion - the UK arm of Autodoc 25' roll parts number
  17. Guy, You need R14 Barricade hose made by Gates I had old R6 which perrished, replaced with Codan R9 and I posted the photos after 1 years, very badly cracked, R14 Barricade is suitable for up to 85% Ethanol and the liner prevents the vapour permetating which accelerates deterioration and is still in perfect condition and meets the pressure requirements for Injection use, theres little difference in price going for the low pressure version which you may find on some injetion cars but only on the return line. You only need a small quanitiy so its not a major expense to use the right product for a safety critical component. You can buy 25'and 5o' rolls if you want to club together to split it
  18. booster seat..... if its a clear aero you will be fine, I opted for no centre mirror just have two mounted on the cage, I found the the carbon aeros limit your field of view, although they do look good A lot however depends on your personal physiology, height is a good starting point but also consider inside leg / torso dimensions
  19. The lining is PTFE, race cars change them annually as debris can ingress the the overbraid and abrade against the liner.
  20. Anthony, yo need to upgrade your fule hose, R6 is not compatible with Ethabol and deterriorates radpidly, you need R14, couple of metres will replace all the hose including the rear sections too
  21. and providing you have a correct size outlet at the bottom of the tank you can run an exteranl roller pump(Bosch 200) and a dead end rail as finding a Metro fule pump cradd;e will prove a challenge...
  22. Thats just the Fords number DHE420 = Duratec HE 4cyl 2.0L, sadly has no link to a 420
  23. Thank you to all concerned in updating the website for us, looks and works great, one minor query... could we have our old range of emojis back please...? Thanks again Neil.
