  2. I'm still researching best bluetooth headset and see that Husqvarna have now entered the mix with a similar product as the Stihl. I know there are a couple of Stihl owners in the group, any updates on your units? I haven't found any independent reviews on the Husky yet or a dealer with a demo. Anyone bought one? 🤔

    CTek charger

Ainsley, I have CTEK's and use the bike setting on mine. My reasoning (which may be wrong) is that the current charging the battery is lower so more gentle on the battery. I think a battery that is in poor condition (sulphated) can benefit from higher current charge rate as it helps penetrate the sulphate allowing the battery to charge better and retain its voltage. IMHO. 🙂
  4. I didn't like the jubilee clip method to fit my high level brake light so I made my own bracket and utilised the existing roll bar holes to mount it high and central. 🙂
  5. Hi Britspud, Yep I think you have the same issue I experienced when fitting my half hood. If it is then it's easily resolved; remove the spring washer and replace with a thin flat SS washer. Put the hex bolt in your spare bolt tin and fit a nice SS button head bolt. Worked perfect for me. 🙂👍
  6. So we are still non the wiser. French Duratec??? 😵‍💫
  7. No body knows what it means then?
  8. OK stupid question: What is Caterham referring to in their advert for a French Duratec cat bypass? 🤔 https://caterhamparts.co.uk/collectors-catalysts/7151-polished-collector-french-duratec.html
  9. I'm looking for advice and thoughts on safe lifting my 420R SV using a tilting lift that I used on my Morgan. I have studied a few pictures of Cats on commercial lifts but think my lift may be a bit short to reach the critical points underneath where the chassis is strongest. The lift arms are 80cm in length and 15cm wide. Width between the arms is multi adjustable. Does anyone use a similar lift or can advise me where I can place rubber pucks to lift the car. Alternatively I can get some longer arms made up if they are not long enough. Thanks for your thoughts. Picture of Lift
  10. New to Caterham and reading all the posts about the Titan. Im preparing to change the oil and fit the magnetic filler plug. My question is can this oil change be performed from underneath the car with it jacked up on axle stands or only by accessing through the boot? I have an oil pump and vacuum extractor. Any advice much appreciated.
