  1. I don't have one of those, but I do have one of These for sale. It is brand new, yours for £100 + postage at cost.
  2. Roger: I don't know if you can buy hard coated PC sheet, you would need to ask the PC suppliers. I do have two possible names for hard coating of plastics: Optical Coating Technologies Charvo Finishing I've not used either of these. I've had limited experience of hard coating PC (moulded card reader lenses) & found it to be quite troublesome with a high scrap rate. The hard coating material needs to match the grade of PC used. Eventually we changed to a grade of acrylic with an inherently higher scratch resistance & adequate impact resistance for the application. HTH, Mark
  3. Adrian Russell has a Racepod for sale on the Grads website here
  4. That's fine. I've now done a full audit of the tyre department & I cannot find the 4th tyre. I think it must have been so worn that I decide to scrap it when I used the wheel it was on.
  5. Matthew: I've got 3 (possibly 4, but I can only find 3) 185/60R13 80H A021s which you are welcome to for a modest donation to NTL. They have 2 - 5mm of tread. I will need to remove one from a wheel.
  6. This has got to be one of the best wanted threads for a long time! If I could catch the squirrels who have half inched all my walnuts he would be more than welcome...... although he would have to stuff it himself
  7. James, sorry for the delay in replying, I've been away for the W/E. Glad to hear the old girl is still going well. It used to understeer like mad until I fitted new Spax dampers with adjustable platforms & set it up properly. I've never driven a Vauxhall engined car, so I don't know how they compare with the X-flow. I believe the X-flow has more top-end, but the Vauxhall is better lower down the rev range. I was intrigued by the various radiator measurements, so I've measured my 'stock' (Super, destroyed Mega, spare 1 & spare 2). They all measure: header width: 44mm, core width: approx. 35mm, CovRad numbers: 1 @ 58524, 2 @ 73315, 1@ no label. I've run the Super for 4 seasons & the Mega for 0.5 season without any cooling problems. HTH, Mark
  8. Oi! Who said you could drive my old car??

Is this what you're looking for?
  10. Coyote: I'm disappointed in you, I thought you were THE expert on Caterham Cages... Anyway, I've taken a cage bolt off my imperial chassis, the thread is 7/16" UNF. I've used 2 bolts for each front fixing, the thread length of each is approx. 5/8" (16mm), but you may need to buy longer bolts & cut them down. To be precise you need set screws which are threaded to the head, bolts have a section of plain shank. You'll also need some 2.5mm thick plain washers, outside diameter 1". HTH, Mark
  11. They're big enough to stop me falling over, well, most of the time ....... I suppose I could try 44/10 with lots of thick socks
  12. Black preferred. Long shot I know, but if you don't ask.........
  13. My policy of not throwing anything away seems to have worked, I've found the receipt. It was on 20.12.05, I hope they are still going. Details: J & J Radiators Unit 10, Napier Street Off East Street Coventry CV1 5PR 02476 226263 The work done on mine was: Caterham radiator: remove both tanks, rod out tubes, resolder both tubeplates. I think they resprayed it black too, but they were too modest to mention that..... Cost: £27.50 + VAT
  14. James: I've used the copper CovRad radiators on my Classic (X-flow), Super & Mega without any overheating problems. Reason: they are much cheaper than the fancy ally jobs & I can get them repaired at a place in Coventry. It might be the gauge/sender, the Caterham parts are notoriously unreliable, also, do you have a thermostat fitted? HTH, Mark
  15. It was probably SuperGrads racer Peter Flynn heading to Anglesey. His race number is 189.
  16. It might have been MegaGrad racer Kim Rayment heading home from Anglesey, he lives in Warwickshire. His car is kawasaki green with black cage & wings. His reg. number is C7 *** (cannot remember the exact letters). His race number is 10.
  17. Oh no! I was planning a trip over to GP to pick up a set for Anglesey......... Coyote, if you find more than the 4 you need please let me know.
  18. Hello Jason, RARB is not allowed in the Academy. OK for RoadSports A & B, SuperGrads etc.
  19. RC7: I've got a 290mm Momo wheel which I would be interested in selling. It is similar to this Momo wheel. It has the black suede covering, although it is more 'off black' than black & is quite shiny around the hand positions. I would be looking for £50 + postage/carriage at cost (£3 ish). I can take some photos if you're interested (BM me you e-mail address).
  20. Volker: The standard Caterham front & rear discs are the same. I think it is a mistake on one of the Ebay adverts. The part numbers quoted on the adverts (OM-BD309) are the same. I presume the term 'height' means the offset between the 'disc' & 'hub'. HTH, Mark
  21. Petrolhead 😬 😬 BUT, you just wait till you try to fit that SLR cage to your car, Steve T will get his revenge........
