  1. Spotted by a friend, he thinks it was an S reg.
  2. Ian They could be up to 8 years old. I need to check my 'stock'. How many are you after? Mark
  3. Ian I've got a couple of A-021R (185/60R13 80H) with 3-4mm tread or loads of A-048s. Any use? Mark
  4. You could try McMillan Motorsport in Hinckley.
  5. Dave: Sounds about right. I was approaching Warwick Road on Waverley Road when you flashed past.
  6. Spotted in Warwick Rd, Kenilworth, late morning.
  7. Matthew: It's worth reading this ''article'' about 'warped' discs. As Roger says I would get new discs, but I would also get new pads, the old ones may be contaminated. I used M1144 front pads when racing in Classic Grads, I thought they worked really well. I used part number MGB535M1144 which has a greater pad area than MGB533M1144, which is a good thing. It's worth getting the corner weighting checked. Richard is right about camber possibly being a factor, but IIRC camber cannot be adjusted on a Classic. HTH, Mark
  8. First dibs on the Tillett seat please. Any possibility of a photo of the crack? YHM Mark
  9. Pneumatic chisel is great for cleaning mortar off bricks.
  10. Roger Sorry for the delay in replying. We got wiped out by a lorry on the M6 on the way to Anglesey back in 2008 Sad photos I'm afraid I'm unlikely to race this year ☹️ ☹️, but I hope to come to watch some of the races. I've used the screw-type valve on my Super, mounted under the bonnet - I don't think I could cope with steering & adjusting the brake balance 😳. As they say in all the Ebay ads. 'The valve is not advertised elsewhere'.
  11. Hello Roger I've got a brand-new AP screw type proportioning valve It was destined for my Mega, but the lorry got there first. Yours for £100 if you're interested. Mark
  12. It could be you've got too much tread on your new tyres & the tread blocks are moving around too much. Racers have their new tyres shaved down to about 3mm tread depth (JamesR - please confirm). How much tread depth was there on your old tyres? It's painful to pay for your tyres then to have to pay more to have half the tread shaved off.
  13. If you're travelling down the M1, I could meet you at Leicester Forest East services, J20 (Lutterworth) or J18 (Crick). J19 (M1/M6/A14) is a problem, there is no way back on to M1 south. Roughly what time are you travelling?
  14. Which route are you taking back? I'm happy to travel to meet you to avoid you having to make a detour.
  15. Touché Edit: Found out how to add the acute accent Edited by - Mark Gregory on 13 Sep 2011 12:53:29
  16. Option 1: Standard Caterham front & rear. You can adjust the handling a bit by changing the rear ARB.
  17. Can anyone help transport 3 CR322s from Bolton to Warwicks (ish). Donation to NTL.
  18. Seriously! I'm looking for 2 (possibly 4) ex Academy tyres. 5mm+ tread would be nice.
  19. Blue? Caterham 21 heading south on the A429 near Loxley on Sunday afternoon @ 4.30pm ish.
  20. Dibs noted. I forgot to mention that the advert was 'dibs friendly'
  21. A friend of a friend is selling 4 wheels & tyres from a 1992 1.4 K-series, details are: Wheels: KN Jupiter 6J x 14 silver/black. Tyres: Yokohama S306 185/60 x 14 HR (little used). De-Dion PCD. Wheels/tyres are in Kenilworth. Price: £150 BM me for the seller's e-mail.
  22. Glad to hear you're sorted. I'm sure the shiny CC option is much nicer than my scruffy spares.
