  9. If the car is a high days and track car, then I'd have to agree, the 6-speed box is better. Following a 1.6 SS SV in my 1.4 SS S3 the lead car was always just that bit further up the rev range, without being at the screaming top, whereas I was always in 3rd! 3rd in mine is good from 30mph to about 100! 😬 Although there is talk on here about a 5 speed box with a longer 1st, and closer gears for the rest, giving you the possibility of a touring 5th when a long trudge is required. BB
  10. Might have some silver ones, if they are of use? BB

  16. John, I take it that this not going to fit your car. woodfell, Can you BM me with your e-mail? I'll get it from the shed later and take some pics. Cheers BB
  17. Solid green, not metallic. Fingers crossed the above will make a difference. The main reason for doing it, is that the rest of the car is so nice, it seems a shame to let this part of it spiol the overall picture. BB
  18. Reckon that you want to be looking here Good luck. BB
  19. I tried the good clean bit, and it got some off, but not all, there seems to be residual marks that cannot be cleaned off with elbow grease. You in tonight for a viewing? BB
