  1. can you try clearing the blatchat cookies from within your browser and then go back to your profiles and save them again for me please? Tried that but still no joy ☹️ Mark
  2. Great updates Not sure why but the images posted only appear as links for me unless I go to my profile, change nothing & hit submit having to do this every time I visit the site otherwise it just reverts back to the links. I'm using mac OS X & Firefox, it's not a problem but just wondered if I'm missing something... Mark
  3. Not any more sadly ☹️ It seems the H & S brigade have stopped them from mixing both 1/2 & 1 litre tins of any flat colour not quite sure why but apparently they can still mix metallic colours... 😔 Edited by - Russell M on 18 Oct 2010 19:16:27
  4. All sorted now thank you 😶‍🌫️ I'd not imagined it'd be quite that simple... Mark.
  5. As title - Swmbo's 08 VW Polo has a locked rear drum ☹️ Have tried the usual rocking, it's happened in the past & always worked, but doesn't seem to want to release this time - now taken the wheel off & was wondering if a little heat to the drum with a blowlamp might help? Any ideas appreciated
  6. Halfords do a Plastic Padding "Leak-Fix" Sets in 10 minutes & is ideal for fuel tanks.
  7. The clutch plates on my x-flow regularly gets stuck (car doesn't get used as much as I'd like) &, having just freed it up I was wondering whether keeping the pedal depressed whilst it's parked up would cause any problems? I'm thinking it might compress / weaken the clutch springs & maybe cause the clutch to start slipping
  8. I've not read through all the posts so I'm not sure exactly what's required but the beauty of the Halfords system is that the stuff they mix on site, or you order & arrives in-store the following day if it's certain colours like yellow, is the traditional cellulose base & not two pack. I'd never even consider using 2k paint unless you had the appropriate equipment, air fed mask, etc. etc. Most trade paint counters nowadays only seem to sell 2k paint with very little cellulose available. I'm not sure why the H & S police haven't stopped Halfords selling cellulose yet, I'm sure it's only a matter of time ☹️, but when I spoke to them last year they had no plans to stop supplying it. Hope this helps Mark.
  9. Yep - most large branches of Halfords can mix paint while you wait, assuming you've got the correct codes, although you'll almost certainly have to pre-order the Yellow as they're not allowed to mix that in branch. Something to do with H & S regarding the pigments I think. Mark.
  10. Offers anyone? Loads of tread left, stored in a dark / dry garage most of the time with no damage or signs of crazing / cracking. I'd certainly still be using them if I'd not changed to 14"... Mark.
  11. 2 off Yoko A539 - 195/50 R15 with approx. 6 - 7 mm tread left. 1 off Yoko A509 195/50 R15 (non directional) that's been carried as a spare & never used. Date stamped "YYY1202" - so approx 7.5 years old. If they're of any use then £30 the lot with collection only from Hereford / Ross-on-Wye / Monmouth area. Mark. 15 in wheels

Hi Alan Not sure what type you're after but I've a set of 5 Minilite type Performance alloys that I've been meaning to put in the for sale section. They're off my de dion seven. They're marked "Performance 15 x 7JJ WIA" & 4 off have Yoko A539's (195/50) fitted - 2 of which have approx. 6.5 mm tread & 2 pretty much down to the wear bars. The spare has a Yoko A509 (non directional) fitted & neither the wheel nor the tyre looks to have ever been used. Not sure of the age of the tyres but I suspect they're fairly old. The wheels don't appear to have any knocks or damage although the lacquer is going on the rims in places. They come complete with 4 Performance centre caps & the wheel nuts which are in ok condition but have the chrome lifting on some in places. Not got a clue as to value but, if you're interested, how does £180 sound? Let me know & I'll email you photos... Mark. P.S. They'd need to be collected from the Hereford / Cheltenham area. 14. Malcolm - Many thanks for the photos, the seats look great but aren't, unfortunately, the ones I'd expected. Sorry about that - I thought I'd got pre S types in my 7, they're brown leather & I wanted to replace with black. Not sure quite what mine are now Thanks again Mark.
