I am sure Simon will give you an indepth explanation, but just to give you an overview, I did this last April and had never been involved in any motorsport. I turned up with my car which was already equipped with FIA roll bar and a helmet. The day involved walking the course pin pointing lines on each corner. We then drove each corner at a time practising the lines with feed back from Simon and Adrian what was right and wrong. Before deciding where you are going to fit mirrors consider if you will fit a cage in the future. I fitted mine which were perfect position and then decided to fit a roadsport cage. O/s mirror is now in front of vertical pillar. ☹️

I have a set of softs, found tremendous grip on the first track day in the dry, absolutely useless in wet, whether on road or track, but then they are not designed for wet weather. Couple of the guys use them in the paddock and swear by them. As mentioned above, have two sets of tyres one for wet and one for dry.

Hi Simon, I would be interested in this again. I was a bit bull at the gate on the 1st one , but after sprinting the circuit last season it would be interesting to see if I have learnt anything. Before I attack it again in May.

I ran a type 9 from Steve at SPC in a road going car. It was the Rocket spec box. It was noisier than a helical box but I could easy live with it, and not as noisey as straight cut. Only fault, I should have chosen a higher 5th gear. J

45mm throttle bodies. 160 Chris, but have a slight problem at moment of engine surging on light load. Not good how much did yours make.

Cheers Andy, but after charging battery I was able to use my multimeter and identify each wire. Engine is all wired up and running. Thanks for all your help, Jeremy
