Thought my scuttle made a noise but it turned out to be the shift lights. Screws were just a tad loose causing the bracket to squeak. May help. Jem

Removed mine in January, I removed plenum, alternator, ex manifold. Removed fuel rail just for safety, but this can be left in place. I left the starter on but had to remove it when refitting. When removing starter, also remove oil filter/ cooler head to access starter bolts. I fitted some lifting brackets off a zetec engine which were bolted into the side of the cyl head. Leave gearbox inplace. Hope this helps, my car is a r300d. Edited by - JEM on 8 Jun 2012 18:40:16

IThe Trouble with Thomas The Tank is youngsters grow out of it as fast as they pick it up - My youngster has declared he is too old for this now and so its all up for sale - his decision My son was exactly the same, he would have nothing to do with Thomas once he had reached 21 years of age 😬 J
