  1. It's just the block and head. I am sourcing some photos of it. Regin has fist refusal now. Rich.
  2. Genuine R500K Engine From 2001 R500 ~12K Miles Rebuilt / Refreshed 2008 by QED Good Condition I took it out the original car in 2012 and it's been stored since Would like a quick sale £3.5K no offers Rich. UPDATED : NOW SOLD!
  3. Thanks everyone for the input :-) You have helped the question along for me. I have a Caterham dry sump with the fabricated clutch fork, which has already broken once. I am now thinking that any consideration of a race clutch should be with the understanding that I will need to convert to hydraulic operation (if this is possible with the limited space of the bell housing with the oil sump). I am currently trying to contact Peter Carmichael as he is the only other person I know using a race clutch in his car, to see if he can clarify. Rich.
  4. After a lot of investigation I've settled on a dual-plate 184mm Helix racing clutch supported by a QED ultra-lightweight flywheel for my 1.9K. I am told Peter Carmichael had a very similar setup in his 250bhp 1.8K. What I don't know is if this setup needs a hydraulic clutch or the cable operated lever will be ok? I wonder if Peter or anyone else can confirm? Cheers, Rich.
  5. I've been having problems with the R500K clutch slipping as I don't think it can handle the extra torque of a 1.9 (~170lb/ft). Currently I have this cover fitted : AP Racing CP3748-6 But, when I look at the spec for this it seems it can only take 136lb/ft of torque. Link I've been referred to a old crossflow cover plate and a paddle type pressure plate, which should work in a 1.9K, but, I don't have part numbers. Can anyone help? Cheers, Rich.
  6. Have let a message with Sam to get on the reserve list but, just leaving a message here to register my interest if anyone is having second thoughts about being able to attend. Richard.
  7. Hi Nick Les has passed on the exhaust. Are you still interested? Cheers, Rich.
  8. hi Les, Sorry my phone was off most of yesterday. I have a voicemail from you. If you would like to try me again today I should be around. Nick (Pargiter), I will let you know asap if Les doesn't want it as i think you are second dibs. cheers Richard. Edited by - Richard Anderson on 11 Apr 2014 11:05:44
