  1. Thanks for posting these so quickly Andrew. Any veterans results and will there be a pdf showing the overall scores after each round?
  2. Last time it was 3/4 lap. If you were really sandbagging Tony.....plenty of EL points!
  3. Looks to be the same as when we were last there in 2021. I remember the very tight section at Windsock.
  4. I would second that Tony, The sooner we get our entries in the easier it is for the Comp Sec team to plan the season. And as Tony has said he doesn't want to win, that's an even better reason to enter so that his wish comes true!
  5. I received the same reply. I think we can assume that if they have taken your money they have received the entry.
  6. At least 3 more of us did not receive entry receipts, so looks like an issue with the Loton entry system. I have emailed the entry secretary, so far with no response.
  7. Just spoken to BOC and they tell me that all championships will be listed on the registration page at 9:30.
  8. If you can see that Justin I think you are registered
  9. Our championship should be on that list. There seem to be many that are missing. Perhaps the website will update later. If not I will call them in the morning before 9:30.
  10. Can't reply to your message Alan because your mailbox is full. I will email you some pictures tomorrow
  11. I have a pair dated 2010 removed about 2 years ago. I can send you photos if you are interested. Graham
  12. Just made some enquiries and we can only use the top loop during the week because of noise issues. Not really worth it without the first left hander in my opinion.
  13. Well done Andy and thanks for your efforts....my guess at the Anglesey dates was right! I think Gurston just has to be rubber stamped by their committee, should be 99% certain.
  14. In 2022 an RS Interclub license was £69, might be modest increase for 2023 No medical is required for this. Series registration fee was £30 in 2022. Entry fees for events range from about £100 to £150. If there are 2 rounds over a weekend that will cost double although some organisers offer a small discount if you enter for both days. You will need a minimum of an FIA roll bar and petty strut, you may already have this. No other major expense on the car until you get hooked and decide it is not fast enough! Personal safety equipment....Helmet, Race Suit, gloves. Cost about £600. Travel and accommodation for more far flung events, camping is usually allowed in the paddock which is the cheapest option. Have a read of this page as well: /competitors-area/competitor-home-page Give it a go!

    2022 Video

For those who may not look in ChitChat, the 2022 video as shown on Sunday is now on YouTube Great work as always by John Martin
  16. I never managed to cure the leak on mine, changed to a wheel sensor. Have a look at this thread. /forum/techtalk/change-gearbox-speed-sensor-wheel-speed-sensor-k-series
  17. Hi David There will probably be true experts along to answer your question soon..... I did this as part of a rebuild a few years ago and a bigger issue is that the gudgeon pins on the standard rods and pistons are a press fit. Forged pistons will need the rods machining so that the gudgeon pin is fully floating. So for a bit more money than the cost of machining the rods I fitted steel rods which are fully floating as standard. I guess you only need to replace the liners if they are worn. Probably you could get them glaze busted to give a surface for the new pistons to bed into. I fitted new liners. You are probably looking at a bit over £1000 to do this. Dave Andrews will give you advice on all this (and sell you the parts) Graham
  18. Rob J and I have both requested 15-22 as these are closest to our parking area. Let's see what they come back with.

    Memories

As most of you know John Martin will be working in our annual video this year which will be shown at the awards lunch and then put in You Tube. In the meantime he has done a bit of work on the 2016 and 2017 videos originally created by Jon Davies. These are now on the club's YouTube channel for you to enjoy. And just a reminder that we need material for this year, you can upload photos and videos here: https://www.dropbox.com/request/vvQjsVgdvs9TWl34jamH
  20. 2 places for me please Paul. Thanks Graham
  21. Alan, I have just replaced mine and they are sitting in my garage. They are 16 years old and always passed the MOT but showing slight signs of wear sometimes commented on by sprint scrutineers. Yours for a donation to the club charity. Graham
  22. That would have been me......a successful test of the brakes, and I was keeping a good eye on the mirror!
  23. Most of these leak, I replaced the seal in mine a couple of times with the engine out and it still leaked. The solution is to blank off the drive and fit a wheel sensor as detailed in this thread.
