  1. Thanks Justin for organising all this, let’s hope it’s dry and sunny so we don’t need them!
  2. I would strongly support this. We are struggling for entries at all events this year and I can’t see us having 40 at the club sprint.
  3. Hi Roger. Very sorry to hear this news, you have been a constant presence in the paddock throughout my 22 years of competition. I will miss your enthusiasm and paddock banter. Look forward to seeing you regularly as driver coach and mechanic for Adam.
  4. One for me please Justin
  5. RIF carbon aeroscreen for S3 with Racetech mirrors. The screen has lost its initial shine but looks good after a polish with Wood Silk. Mirrors have only been used at a few track days. The screen has been mainly used for speed events without mirrors. £175. collection preferred from Milton Keynes area.
  6. Hi Brian. The compsec will send a list of numbers to the organisers.
  7. I would support double headers to increase the number of rounds. Agree with Paul that Prescott and Harewood would be the best events for this as they are the best supported hill climbs and Harewood in particular make us very welcome and run a very slick event. Not so sure about making both Curboroughs double headers.
  8. When the calendar was announced the reason given for the reduction in the number of rounds was because of a fall off in the number of competitors with fewer at each round in 2023. By having fewer rounds the argument was that it will concentrate competitors between a smaller number of rounds making each event more competitive. This may or may not be the case but people also choose where to compete based on the location of the events, and in 2024 we have lost 2 in the east, and fitting round other things in life such as work commitments and holidays. So now there is less choice of events it could be that many will not manage to do the 7 rounds needed to get a decent score in the championship, as Chris has indicated. Malcom’s idea is worth considering as 2 events in a weekend does reduce the costs of travel. I think quite a lot of us would be in favour of this. For me 16 rounds sounds about the right number to give a decent choice of which to attend. 12 not sure?
  9. 2024 provisional calendar was shown at the Awards…..so there will be a championship! I am sure it would help a lot of us if even the provisional calendar was available to view here somewhere.
  10. Congratulations Charlie, a well deserved champ. Thanks to the team for making it all happen
  11. Thanks Andy, not normally a trouble maker! Had a fun weekend driving Ivan's car. Thanks Ivan I too noticed that you had left out Stephen.
  12. Thanks Andy. I made a guest appearance in class 1, not shown anywhere! Graham
  13. Not going to Anglesey this year, but last time they were happy to allocate garages to us on condition none of us tried to book any extras. How many will depend on how many of us enter.

  15. As we all know Avon will not be manufacturing tyres in the UK when their factory closes later this year. I asked MSUK if Avons would still be on their tyre lists after this year, this was the reply..... "Yes, the currently listed Avon tyres will remain listed for a number of years to enable competitors to use existing stocks." Sounds like good news, we can all use up our ZZS's.
  16. Some great shots Geoff, thank you for sharing.
  17. Everything needed (apart from a manifold gasket!) to fit a set of Jenvey DTH 42 mm Throttle bodies. This kit gave 168 bhp on an 1800 K series with Piper 633 Cams. Probably only done 200 to 300 miles. In detail.... Pair of Jenvey Direct to Head Throttle Bodies with mounting bolts Auto-Teknix (was Bernard Scouse) airbox which includes back plate, 90 mm trumpets, throttle cable bracket and fuel rail brackets with all necessary fixings. The standard K Series fuel rail, air filter and throttle cable can be used. Emerald K6 + ECU with EU3 connection cable and map switching cable. I am looking for £2000 plus carriage or collection from Milton Keynes area.
  18. Great pictures as always Dave
  19. I think the lack of results showing is because an unreliable connection between RallyTime who do the timing at Curborough and the ResultsMan website. The data in ResultsMan relies on being fed from the timing equipment at the venue. I am sure all the results were captured by the fantastic team in the paddock office and will be posted soon by Mr Compscorer.
  20. That makes sense Andrew, thanks for keeping these up to date. You are doing a great job

    Tyres

David The comp sec has sent out an email about tyres, not sure of the circulation of this. I think the discussion has been prompted by the imminent closure of Avon tyres, probably meaning no more ZZS's. Class 3 is list 1b and I believe that's how it should remain. If ZZS is not in list 1b then competitor's should be free to choose another from that list. This keeps our championship inclusive. Nothing to discuss as far as I am concerned. I think there is a competitors' meeting at Curborough to discuss this and a few other issues.
