  1. Help required!!! Fellow forum member Sam Allen (sallen43) has broken down about 15 miles from Chepstow. He has a 1.8K. He has no internet access but has text me the following: "Car overheated with split water coming from expansion tank. Filled it back up and ran it with the cap off and water came over the top of the expansion tank in slow surges. He let is cool down and the level dropped right down. He filled it back up and proceeded 3 miles where the temp gauge reading went down and the leak occurred again as before." Any ideas? Some form of air lock?
  2. L7C member Token Jock has just heat wrapped the primaries on his R500d and reports a noticeable improvement. It would be worth contacting him direct for further info.
  3. That's a stone's throw from my house. Not seen it around but will keep an eye out.
  4. No idea. However they both work, so I'm not too bothered to find out
  5. All bulbs purchased from Autobulbsdirect.co.uk Rear Indicators: 581LED60-A2 at £22.50 for 2. Front Indicators: 382LED60SBA-2 at £22.00 for 2. Relay as linked above by Mavic82.
  6. Glad to hear it I've now fitted front LED indicators, so I'm indicating in an LED fashion all round now (also my side lights, rear lights, brake lights and number plate lamps are all LED too). I've attached a little vid showing the LED front indicators compared with the standard filament items:
  7. Further to this I've now ordered some LED front indicators (I already have LED side repeators). So now I'll have the LED whole hog
  8. Well the relay arrived on Friday however I'm just back from a weekend away. Anyway Wife is doing some chores so I popped out to the garage, fitted my LED indicators and checked them with the old relay. Sure enough the blinker speed is much higher, so popped out the old relay and the new one in. Voila! It works
  9. Thanks for the reply RedCat7 I already have the modine oil cooler however I've decided not to get the TBs. All advice seems to suggest they're fiddly to set up and then need to be maintained as such. With a little one on the way, I need to take every opportunity to get out in the car this summer rather than be stuck in the garage fiddling with setups.
  10. So no one out there who's running throttle bodies on their Sigma 140?
  11. Hi All, I love my little (Sigma 140) Supersport however I've always yearned for a bit more induction noise. I'm thinking of getting some of the throttle bodies that were fitted to the old Sigma 150s. Any ideas as to whether this will work with the 140 ECU 'map? Any other points to consider? I'm not really worried about more power, just want that noise
  12. Well this thread has inspired me to purchase one of these Wipac relays. This should now allow me to use my LED rear indicators
  13. Hi Juju, Will the shower cap work with an aeroscreen? Where are the attachment points?
  14. 2012 Supersport with the 1.6L Sigma engine.
  15. Hi All, I fnd my throttle too light, with resultant kangarooing over bumps. Has anyone changed the throttle spring and if so, where did they find to purchase the new spring from?
  16. I purchased the sub-loom all of 3 weeks ago from Caterham. The website said out of stock, but a quick call had one winging its way to me. See post 87 from here: http://www.lotus7.club/comment/2112192#comment-2112192
  17. Thanks all - thought it may be the earth from Fuel Tank to chassis, but wanted to double check. As per Grubbster's post, I've now secured the 'free' end to the wheel arch fixings. This can just about be seen below: Thanks all for your help
  18. So In the process of wiring up my high level brake light, I've found that the earth (?) cable from the Fuel Tank runs down towards the offside rear connector block but is not connected to anything. See below of cable in question: So the question is, what should this connect to? I can't see anything obvious in the immediate vicinity, however space is rather tight to be able to see everywhere!
  19. Horray, my first spotted Not sure I saw you...were you in a Range Rover? Either way, thanks for the spotted I had just replaced my front screen (from Aeroscreening) so took her out for a quick blast. Gotta say, it feels very enclosed being behind the screen again. Winter's rubbish

    Aero Fitting

Un-do the line of screws along the bottom of the knee protector then push the knee protectors upwards to release. They may take a reasonable bit of effort. I didn't bother replacing them afterwards as they're rubbish anyway.
