  1. I only asked for the rad. I didn't mention the fan but as I didn't spec one I assume they knew.
  2. Just in case anyone searches this later on. The standard fan fits fine. Slide the 4 legs off the standard fan and use the slot left behind to hold the new nut as a captured nut. This will make sense if you look a the current fan.
  3. Thanks guys sounds like using the current fan should be fine
  4. Just one question before I order. Does their Sigma radiator have fittings for the current fan on the car or do I need to get a fitted fan? I could do without the additional cost atm.
  5. I've not had nor added a copper washer and not had any leaks so just went with the sender and the sump plug nothing else and connected the single wire back to the meter job done.
  6. Looks ok to me. A couple of other points you may or may not find helpful You can if you are fairly quick get the current drain plug out and the new plug with sender back in with only a small amount of oil loss and not too much mess. You still need a drip tray just you don't need a full oil change unless you are planning to do this at the same time anyway. Also the sender only has one connection as it's my understanding (wait for a correction) that the metal to metal contact with the thread completes the circuit to earth so don't be tempted to seal with PTFE tape or similar. The NPT should create a good seal as it is tapered. All assuming they send you the correct one unlike me
  7. I have done this on my Sigma 150. I used the standard temp sender from CC and a replacement sump plug drilled and tapped to take the 1/8 NPT thread from the sender. The thread for the sump is M14 x 1.5. I used this here Although the package was correctly labelled the item I received was the M10 version so I got it tapped to fit the sender rather than go through the faff of sending back etc. I was told by the local engineering co that the sender thread was indeed 1/8th NPT. I then fitted a switched feed to the current water gauge. Lots in the archive about this.

    Sigma Oil Filter

Try here I've used the shorter version previously. IIRC it is for the Ford Puma. Halfords have a shorter version listed in their flip over guides in store.
  9. My 57 plate Roadsport has had the grip removed and replaced with an ally one so it is possible. It doesn't seem like it wants to to start with but it will come off with a little perseverance.
  10. Kids have outgrown so need to move on and I fancy something a bit more advanced so the following are up for sale. My head 164cm wide with Santa Cruz bindings. Been used for about 5 weeks but as I ski as well none have been 100% boarding weeks. I guess equivalent to 3 weeks boarding holidays. Usual scrapes and nicks nothing that would prevent the board from being used. Cosmetically there is a ski scrape across the top deck which can be seen from the photos but that it the worst damage to the board. Ideal first board for someone as it was for me. Looking for £70 + P&P or GONADS / collection. Ladies Kemper Diva board 145cm with Drake bindings used for a couple of weeks by my daughter while she learned to board but now far too tall for this board. Normal cosmetic scrapes that would be expected from a board that has been ridden for 2 weeks. Looking for £60 + P&P or GONADS / collection. 140cm Option board with Drake bindings used for a couple of weeks by my son as he learned to board and outgrown as well. Similar condition as above. Looking for £50 +P&P or GONADS / collection. Also have some wrist guards if I can find them I'll throw in a pair f.o.c. with each of the smaller boards. Also have 2 pairs of boarding boots both size 7 used £20 a pair plus P+P / collection or GONADS. In used condition so some rubs from the bindings etc. This lot is probably cheaper than hiring in resort if the kids want to learn and if they don't like it put it back on eBay or on here for the next person. I am in the Southampton area for collection. Photos
  11. Try here for nuts and bolts etc

  19. Mintex 1144 fornt and standard rear seems to be standard before you go to other options. Never had brake fade with them ? Could be me though.
  20. I could be wrong but I thought all gases expanded the same with respect to temperature? "In 1702, Amontons discovered a linear increase of P with T for air, and found P to increase about 33% from the freezing point of water to the boiling point of water. That is to say, he discovered that if a container of air were to be sealed at 0°C, at ordinary atmospheric pressure of 15 pounds per square inch, and then heated to 100°C but kept at the same volume, the air would now exert a pressure of about 20 pounds per square inch on the sides of the container. Remarkably, Amontons discovered, if the gas were initially at a pressure of thirty pounds per square inch at 0°C, on heating to 100°C the pressure would go to about 40 pounds per square inch—so the percentage increase in pressure was the same for any initial pressure: on heating through 100°C, the pressure would always increase by about 33%. Furthermore, the result turned out to be the same for different gases!" Sorry doesn't help your question.
  21. I was told when I picked mine up 5 years ago that the oil presuure would do that and not to worry and it does and I don't Mine also used to need a bit of throttle to catch and the first 30 secs to prevent stalling on cold days but has been fine since the last ecu update I think 3? years ago. Starts with no throttle and holds a steady tickover whatever the temp with no throttle now.
  22. From the Classic Silicone Hoses website Make sure you use a standard antifreeze: those with organic acid anticorrosives can damage any silicone in your engine, including your hoses. See www.fbhvc.co.uk for further information. Doesn't the Sigma engine use organic acid antifreeze?
  23. Thanks Mic Did it fit the standard CC temp sender here ?
