  1. Hmm wasn't me by mine was parked up at work opposite the station. That's blue as well.
  2. Yay my first spotted On the way home (Bartley) in a blue and white SV. Been looking out for a 21 since I joined as I guessed you were close going on previous posts.
  3. Mort has solved it on second page of thread. here

    Lights problem

Passenger side dipped beam and tail light have stopped working. Checked tail light bulb last night and it's fine as is the fuse (assuming I pulled the right one in the semi dark) So I'm assuming it's an earth problem or I have a connector falling apart from when I installed the BB corbon light blocks. As it's a factory build SV Sigma 150 roadsport where is the earth likely to be

    Id-ing diff

Without watching how the wheels spin best advice I've seen is thanks to Angus here Good read if you've not been there before.
  6. Hmmmm... we cross a cattle grid at 60 Living Fareham that would be a cattle grid in the New Forest I guess, where the blanket limit is max 40 often 30... Oh I see my mistake you mean KPH 😬
  7. Hi Shelleyb you can see how the econoseal connectors are made up here Pull the yellow basket out with some needle nosed pliers or similar. As SM25T each pin has a retaining clip that needs to be pushed back to free the pin. Smallest allan key worked for me Don't do what I did when sorting the indicator pods. Separated the connectors pulled through the wires then pulled down the garage door to turn the headlights on to mark the beam on the inside of the door Oddly enough lights wouldn't work. 😔 Edited by - Scoops on 31 Mar 2011 22:23:06
  8. Cheers guys That's the weekend fiddling sorted then Like the instructions "When correctly inserted in the offsets in the housing cavity, the tool tip depresses the contact locking lance, permitting to be removed from the back of the housing" Poke it with a screwdriver 😬
  9. Had a quick look at the headlight looms and the are fitted to the main loom using the econoseal plugs. Can the pins be pulled out from these so I can pull the loom through back to the headlight and then remove the old pod and fit the new and then re fit the plug? I assume the spade terminals at the terminal end will be too big to go the other way? Any tips would be appreciated before I attack the plugs in my normal ham fisted way. How has everyone else fitted their BB pods? PhilG you needn't reply 😬 Sorted your's yet
  10. Sorry my 2007 build has captive nuts so access was from the outside. ISTR others have had the same problem. Re RIF's fog and reversing light blocks. I was under the impression from 666 that they were using RIF's molds for these? I was also told they were V tight but did fit. This wasn't a problem either? Nice snug fit but not really a problem. Once the rear light blocks are sorted I have the indicator pods to do. Haven't looked into how easy this is I'm hoping its an unscrew, unclip the connectors, unbolt the old pod, feed loom back through and refit headlight. If I have to get involved with realigning the headlamps I suspect it will be a pain.
  11. Cheers Mark, I didn't use the rubber fillets but kept them just incase it becomes an issue at a future MOT. The fog and/or reversing light lens have to be vertical ISTR and without the fillet I don't think they are quite.
  12. My first upgrade is to fit the CF bulk buy light blocks. Fog and reversing went on fine but I have a problem with the rear light blocks. The connector plug (econoseal?) is a fiddle to get to and as it was a factory build I'm not sure how they clip together and hence how to get them apart. Are they a straight pull apart or screw or is there some type of clip arrangement? Any advice or piccies describing on how to get apart would help before I go stabbing around under the car and damage the plug in my frustration. Thanks
  13. This morning 8.15 ish heading towards Fareham. Yellow one up. Spotted by swmbo while waiting for QA bus.
  14. These vouchers here in your thread
  15. Cheers Colin I can go and spend some Halfords vouchers now
  16. Cheers for the tip Pete worth a try
  17. Trying to keep away from hobnobs as I'm trying to keep the weight down and I'm down in the New Forest so a bit of a pain to get to.
  18. Going to service on the 7 at the weekend (a first for me) and need a bit of info and show off my ignorance Anyone know the ford part number for the oil filter? Where does the standard master cylinder come from? So I can get an easibleed cap to fit. What is the current spark plug of choice for the Sigma 150? Any chance I can get a cap for the washer bottle somewhere as it's been lost and CC only list the bottle and cap for £25 IIRC. Thanks for the help.
  19. Prophetic words with many applications in life. 😶‍🌫️ Perhaps I should heed them more often
  20. Second ever post and worried about rust 😬 Hi welome to the madness
  21. Duratec every time. Wish it was an option when I ordered my 150 3 yrs ago. You're already upgrading from 125 to 150 or 175. With the 175 you can go further as and when you want to and you know you'll want to
  22. "A lot will depend on whether your height is in your torso or your legs !" cos if your 6ft tall with 18 inch legs then you might need a taller bar 😬 oh and the pedals might need moving
  23. Hi welcome to the madness. If you can beg steal or borrow a copy of the Feb Low Flying there's a great article showing the difference of most roll bars and cages. The FIA bar is slightly higher and is also a minimum requirement for Club organised track days. An FIA bar with a lowered floor will normally give you room under the imaginary line. Tillet seats instead of normal leather seats will drop you further. What have you ordered?
  24. First gun metal grey WA57OUX turned right at the bottom of the high street to go around the one way system, 2 up. Second blue CSR 200 C7BEP stopped at the bottom of the highstreet in traffic 2 up. I was stood next to you trying to be polite to people talking to me about our choc lab puppy.
  25. As above I would have no doubts in recommending the 150 Drive as many as you can and pick the one you like the most. As per warranty you'll notice all/most of the remaps were outside warranty and all done FOC the same for the radiators which is the same on the 125. Dont take the length of blatchat thread as a negative point or you'll never ride a bike, talk to a policeman or even fill a canoe with self expanding 2 part filler
