  1. As further info for interest - Sam advises you can plug a five pin din set into a seven pin setup but the volume will be very low as the extra two pins are used for earths for the speakers - that sounds like it doesnt work to me !!

  3. I have an Autocom headset with a seven pin male DIN plug. Been offered another but it's a five pin female DIN. The headsets have microphones. Does anyone perchance know the pinouts and if I can convert it. Many thanks, daveR
  4. I bought a new Autocom helmet headset this week from a guy on EBay - it seems he has a job lot of new spares for sale, he's not been through them all yet so he's not even sure what he has. The set he set me was spot on so I said I would give him a mention in case anyone needs someone spares. If you do, mail me and I will pass on his mobile number. I'm still looking for a Peltor or Autocom yellow ear defender type headset with mike if anyone has one. Many thanks daveR
  5. Worth another try -I'm looking for a yellow Autocom or Peltor 7 pin headset with microphone so i can have cosy chats with my loved one or Ozzy Osbourne dependant on whether the mp3 player is on or off (usually on heh heh). Already have one for solo running. Many thanks daveR

  15. Hi Mav - Mt twopenneth (sorry) The small navigation bar always reads Home>Forum>Forums whichever area you have navigated to (chitchat, techtalk, for sale, etc) when you have got down the the level of individual posts instead of something like Home>Forum>Chitchat or Home>Forum>Techtalk - this means when you are down at individual post level it's maybe not as easy to remember which forum area you are in and also navigating back up the path is a little more confusing. Maybe I'm confused and no one else is or i missed something - perhaps not that easy to change due to the software - anyway many thanks for all your work well done. daveR
  16. I've had a matching miniscle patch from a bicycle repair kit on for quite a while - just thinking it's time to get around to it. Not causing much of a problem but I would like it right - the nick is around two or three mm is guess. Many thanks.

  18. Hi Yes - It's the outer Gaiter on the rear nearside driveshaft - it has a miniscule nick in it - probably caused by a stone chip. Car is a 1999 Superlight Edited by - Dave Rothwell on 8 Sep 2014 15:57:10
