  1. Reply to #10 I see what you mean Dave. Put it down to "over flash" mobile phone camera technology- as whilst it's a faint pink, it is more pink than yellow to the naked eye. I also tested the voltage across this wire and the Black wire on the passenger side and they give 12v when the heated screen button is pushed.
  2. Thank you everyone for your input. I located a green/pink wire with a female connector attached to nothing (see pic), I've now connected this to the black wire from the windscreen. Albeit, I have to admit as to not being sure when (if ever) I will be able to test it and reap the benefits of a heated screen. Chris
  3. Please would someone assist by confirming the wire colours on the harness side for each of the two heated screen wires (driver and passenger side)? As I've discovered the driver side wire from the screen is not attached to anything. Ref: 2010 R300D With thanks Chris
  4. This is my set up, by "3D-print-shack" via eBay and a Brodit cradle. No need to drill holes and the Brodit cradle can twist to be landscape or portrait. Chris
  5. Reply to #13 Hi Alan, Sounds unlike the Al I dealt with. Ive emailed him this week and he came straight back. Suggest it'll be worth trying him again. Chris
  6. Reply to #4 I would recommend removing the cups/buckets again, as I don't believe the Linear Igus Bushes have enough flex to open to the bar diameter without affecting their quality of operation - aka "break". Chris
  7. Reply to #3 I can confirm the "alleged" is correct - as I used to work at Titan ;)
  8. Hi Neil, Please would you put me down for a set, assuming they'll fit a 2010 R300D? Do you have some pics on them installed you could post on here, especially comparing to the standard Caterham brackets. Are these Lowered Brackets similar to the lowered 620 brackets? With thanks Chris
  9. If its the milky yellow plastic bearings you are referring to, try Titan Motorsport in Little Paxton, St Neots. Or direct from Igus.co.uk Chris
  10. Hi Mark, Where's collection from? I could be interested. Chris
  11. Al did these for me - very pleased with them.
  12. Try Al@keswickadventurecentre.co.uk PS Like you I also don't do Facebook.
  13. Thank you John - for posting the link to "Speedometers", I'll now be able to address the jumpy speedo and stuck at zero needle issue. Chris
  14. Yet another thumbs up for Mr Al Westle. Here's his contact numbers: 075900 56465 017687 75687
  15. Any one else booked on to the MSV Bedford Autodrome Track Day on 26th April? Chris

    Avon Tyre Codes

Thank you all for your feedback on this thread. I've decided to run the tyres for one more Trackday - Bedford April 26th - and will then get them changed to ZZS's all round after that. Many thanks Chris
  17. In regards to "Electronics" Im no expert but I do like to have a little play, as per this thread; https://www.lotus7.club/forum/techtalk/indicator-switch-wiring-please-help?page=1 Chris
  18. I got them from Amazon - here's the link; https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07H18SLRB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They weren't plug and play but the wiring was pretty straight forward ie same number of wires on the car and in the headlight. Albeit, I also swapped out the Original Indicator light for a White LED light which comes on the same time as the Daytime Running Light in the Main Headlight. Chris
  19. Sounds to me like the wiring isn't quite right. I did a similar mod, ref; https://www.instagram.com/p/B-AxSKOltrR/?igshid=1rxsbnch3nks1 Chris
  20. TBH I didn't realise Seven & Classics offered engine upgrades. 250bhp sounds interesting - now wondering what they do different to Mr Cresswell of Premier Power??
  21. If only I looking to buy a set of these - as that sounds like a cracking price. Expect you'll soon sell these Marvin.
  22. Hoping for assistance in understanding Avon tyre codes on my CR500's as I suspect they could be due a change... Fronts: 2914 Rears: 4214 I believe these to therefore be from week 29 and 42 in 2014 - is that right? Carry on regardless or get them changed?

Reply to #21 Thank Stu. Change of plan - I'll now be taking the Flashband back to Screwfix and picking up some Sikaflex instead :)

Reply to #19 Hi Stu. Yes, have to say Im now leaning more towards the sleeping mat approach. But what glue is used to adhere the closed cell foam to the arch? With thanks Chris
