  1. I recently took my 420R to the two Steve's after having RBTB's fitted by CC to have a re-map and was told super unleaded was best but normal unleaded was ok but you must have the re-map done with the fuel you are going to use. Steve also said it's ok to fill up with u/l if you can't get s/ul but change back as soon as you can. I also did this on the F&C run and every thing was fine.
  2. My car was factory built (2years ago) and I was never asked my weight, I did ask them about flat floor and corner weighting and they said that they are not set up for it, so I took it to Boss racing and had it done by Rob, it takes about 2-3 hours and you can watch him do it and you get a proper print out sheet so you can refer back to if you need to check it's still correct, he can set it up for track, road or any where inbetween. My set up from the factory was well out on everything.
  3. Track days are extra with A-plan and I’ve noticed that Carlie has made no comment.
  4. A13#. Go to membership, then special offers for members, scroll down to HEYNER and look under lifting equipment, scissor jacks.
  5. I have their pro version of this, £28 and comes in a good quality zip up fabric case which I have stuck Velcro to, to fix to the carpet in the boot. Also I did arrange a discount with this company so check this is still in place.
  6. My best quote by a long way was with footman James and they are underwritten by Ageis. So I went with them.
  7. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think our cars tax class comes under vans and light goods, so does that mean we could be fined the £2500 for having a de-cat?

  10. #26, I've also just had a new rad fitted under warranty on my 17 month old 420R, I noticed it leaking from the top 3 tubes above the top hose, looked a bit like bottom picture at #30. Mileage when first noticed was around 3500, the service manager told me that it's a manufacturing problem and nothing to do with fitting.
  11. Track and road in Rainham Essex, known on here as the two Steve's one of which is Steve Greenald.
  12. Of you have a heater try closing the vents, if that cures it then the fumes are coming from the engine bay.
  13. #23/#24. Thanks David and Stu for the comments and good advice. Bill.
  14. #20, Scott that's why I'm now considering RBTB's as most seem to favour them (including a few in my area club), and no one has said anything great about Jenvey's.
  15. Thanks to all for your input, I'm starting to lean towards the RB's, I'll probably go for factory fitted one's as the car is only a year old so still under warranty.
