  1. As above, boots are for the ARB, no location groove on the uprights for them to fit properly.
  2. CC took me at my word 😔, just heard from Kenricks in Llangollen that the parts will not be available before the end of July, the saga continues.
  3. All mine leaked from the seals, had tried tightening the caliper halves
  4. I had 5 leaky front calipers during my build in 2010 for the same reason of apparently being poorly reconditioned. Another club member locally I belief had 7 front calipers before finding 2 decent ones. I gave up on them finally and went to big brakes.
  5. First dibs on clutch cable if you are prepared to split. Cheers Bill
  6. Letter received today for July 1st, better to have a delay and a proper solution than a rush job.
  7. Green with yellow nose band and stripe parked up and getting very wet. On our way back from Wooler
  8. Are the adjustable platforms a set of 4 for Bilsteins, if so could be interested Bill
  9. Richard, Grill arrived this morning, many thanks
  10. It begs the question if the current carrier is OK, why introduce version 3. CC must feel it's neccesary to re-engineer and fit to existing cars considering both time and extra cost to them.
  11. Just received this from CC "The required parts are currently in the final sign off stage. We await a date for arrival of the parts and customers will be contacted soon with an update."
  12. Anyone got any news yet, I know Kenricks in Llangollen are following this up with CC on my behalf and a couple of others. I will email CC to find out more and report back.
  13. Hi Mark, I got hold of some 5mm thick rubber material which has a fabric reinforced centre from a supplier near Middlewich in Cheshire and cost about £8, Its much stronger than plain rubber. I have just fitter longer ones so you can have the old ones if you want them. They were fitted between the stays and wings with the standard domed caphead bolts and nuts so might need redrilling to suit.If you see Paul at LADS, I can give them to him to pass on or BM me your details if you want them. Cheers Bill
  14. Hi Titanium7 Does that mean CC are expecting you to pay Kendricks or are they fitting them on behalf of CC covered by their 'in-service upgrade'. If the latter it would be far more convenient for me as well. Bill
  15. Stu, Oh no you don't, they are on my bench
  16. I'll take the K series throttle cable please. Will BM details of address etc if still available. Cheers Bill
  17. P---HVO spotted at 8.55am, no hood and driver suitably lagged, respect Bill
  18. Arrived safe and sound, many thanks Bill
  19. Hi, Letter arrived today for my CCM retrofit diff. Same content as the earlier letters in that a redesigned carrier will be available from April onwards. Looks like April is going to be a busy month for them. Must book my slot.
  20. Thanks guys, so it appears what CCM told me about the retrofit coming after the factory builds is the system they are following. Let's keep each other advised as and when a letter arrives.
