  1. I know that just turning one through 180deg to get a new gaitor on a balljoint on my car was very tight. At the time I was thinking that the thread must have powder coating on aswell It seemed like making a camber adjustment would have taken a bit of strength The balljoints came ready fitted to my wishbones, but maybe a using a tap for anyone building at the moment would be a good tip.
  2. That was it A route that I try to avoid at all costs in the seven these days. My idea of a blat has changed since then thank goodness.
  3. Is it still the Focus? Always look out for you to make sure I wave back this time. Seem to remember you gave me my first ever spotted when I got the car. You waved and I just looked back gowmlessly not sure if you meant me Ta for the spotted
  4. Hi Roadru77er That was me making the most of a dry day. Were you in your work car?
  5. I'd forgotten about this event I must check the calendar more often. I left the marina next door early afternoon and past a few emergency vehicles dealing with an incident involving a fibreglass bodied car off the road just up from the garage. Anyone know if they are OK? I do hope so. Edited by - sigmasmith on 1 Apr 2012 11:46:37
  6. Sorry all. When I wrote "Yes it was 😳" I meant there were 2 faces. No moonshine involved in the sighting itself, maybe in the typing when we got back So who was it Edited by - sigmasmith on 12 Mar 2012 18:12:26
  7. Hi Ian , Yes it was 😳, but looked pretty clean to me. Might have been the lovely sunshine making it appear so.
  8. We were walking towards Ticehurst and had just stopped to talk to my parents in the blue 4x4 at around midday
  9. That was me (the red one) Was a lovely blat to a busy Rye. Just a slow lap and straight home Ta for the spotted.
  10. Sorry mate 😬 I presume being 7'less is a temporary thing though Park gate sounds good. Hopefully see you there
  11. Hi StEVEN I saw the C7 part of the reg and thought that it would be perfect on a Seven . Then recognised the rest 😬
  12. waved from silver jimny heading the other way
  13. around 16:45. I waved from silver Suzuki Jimny
  14. I was there a couple of hours ago, so was probably me Were you in your 7? I did see a tintop flashing its lights in my rear view mirror - was that you *idea*. I did a quick lap of Rye and started heading back smartish as the clouds were rolling in. No rain here though so I could have stayed blatting longer Cheers for the spotted.
  15. Turning right from Hawkhurst towards Tunbridge Wells. We were walking home and heard some pops and bangs and saw some familiar headlights as you past us
  16. Yep, ordered my first one with the extra bit and this is my second one, but this one has arrived without so wondering if its going to cause a problem. I hope not 😳
  17. Hi Steve I think I remember your first one making a mess on the Bexhill Run - very annoying 😔 Does your Radtec have the extra fitting at the top?
  18. Thanks Mike, Photos received and fitting procedure understood 😬 Cold drinks at the ready then Ben
  19. Thanks Mike, Interesting point about changing the mounts for the rad. You don't happen to know if they were softer or something like that do you Any more bleeding success stories
  20. Looks like its rad change time again Has anyone with a sigma engined car had any problems with upgrading to either of these without the extra fitting heading off to the expansion tank I have read that a few of the standard rads have been fitted to k series cars without problems by blanking this fitting off, but is their anything specific to the sigma engine that needs it? Is it the case that if its bled properly that its not required?
  21. I think we both didn't have time to wave as we past each other. You were heading North (propabably dodging the raindrops like me 😳 I was heading back from an attempt to deafen myself in the 7 so that I could put up with the neighbours building work - It worked a treat
  22. around 13:00 today. Gave you a wave as we passed in a Vauxhall Insignia
  23. This evening. You were heading down the hill and I gave you a *idea* *idea* from a silver Jimny
  24. That does sound a bit strange. I seem to remember that I weighed both my old Banner and the PVR25 at the time of fitting mine and the Powervamp was about 2 kilos lighter
  25. Hi Chris Thats what I had planned originally, running from the front chassis tube to the tabs at the rear. I might see if I can adapt the channels to do that job. Shame those tabs appear to be upside down compared to yours, but should still do the job. Many thanks all
