JP
The paint is peeling off my KN "Minilike" wheels. Can anyone recommend a company for refurbishing the wheels, ideally in the South West London / Surrey area. They are currently silver, but I might look to have them repainted / powder coated black. Thanks in advance for any tips.
Member Jonathan Kay Posted December 4, 2022 Member Share Posted December 4, 2022 There are two companies offering Club discount in that area (at the bottom of the page).Jonathan
John Vine
I used The Wheel Specialist for four of my Anthracites. They did a superb job (Bournemouth branch). There is (or was) a 15% Club discount for 4+ wheels, but the Benefits page says the code expired at the end of 2021.JV

BigCol
for my 911, Chris Weever at Exel Wheels (07885 259571) did a great job... he will also provide temporary wheels to keep you mobile whilst he sorts yours (not that I think that would be the case, or of value, with the 7)
Neil220
I looked at the replies to your post but only seemed to find information about refurbishment going back 6 or 7 years.Does anyone know if there is a valid club discount for 2022? Slipper man
I have used Wheel Works in Crawley a number of times. Very good service (they totally strip the wheels and then powder coat them). The even straighten wheels if they are not "true".
JP
Thanks #15. They are on my list to call for a quote. I've got five 14" wheels and four 13" wheels that I'd like to get done.
JP
Reviving this thread as I'm now gathering quotes. I tried Wicked Wheels, who recommended that I contact Primo Wheels i Woking, which I think was previously part of Wicked Wheels. They are not the cheapest, but they are reasonably local, which is handy. Does anyone have any experience of them? All I want is to have my Minilikes stripped and powder coated in black. JP
Feedback: I went with the Wheel Specialist in St Albans in the end. Good service and very pleasant to deal with. Here are the results: I'll probably take my 14"s to them in the New Year...
