  1. I fitted these last year, they’re a great improvement. Does anyone know where to get some plastic ‘caps/rivets’ to fill the holes left by the old mirror mount?
  2. My Sigma Roadsport had an annoying rattle from passenger side which took me ages to diagnose. Eventually tracked it down to loose rivets fixing the screen wash bottle bracket to the bulkhead. The noise reverberated like a drum! I drilled out the rivets and replaced with bolts & nyloc nuts. No more rattle (except the usual 7 noises). It may not be your rattle, but worth checking.
  3. #8, I'll put them on my Xmas list!
  4. I had my minilites refurbished and powder coated by The Wheel Specialist in Farnborough, Hants & they did a good job.
  5. Cheers Kris, hope to see you soon, Phil
  6. 3 Sevens (inc mine) making the most of a warmer, sunny day. Long chat with Chris in his nice soon to be upgraded orange 270. Chris, Come along to the next Surrey Se7ens meet! Also parked up, a red 270 - AR71 CAT, no sign of the driver - queuing for a burger? Finally, drove down to Shere to find a 1969 Series 3 Lotus parked outside the White Horse pub. Long chat with him too, incl an inspection under the lid of the Holbay lump with chunky Weber carb. Can't remember his name, but he has owned it 37 years. Finally, finally a lovely LHD MGA parks up opposite, but didn't chat to him. Went past lots of boring cars on the drive home
  7. Hi Chris, I'm interested in your minilites, I have sent you a pm. Cheers, Phil
  8. Heading towards Horsley around 11 today, hood off enjoying the chilly morning sun!
  9. Jonathan, One wire is green/purple, the other I think is grey. My car has an accessory power supply already, so I'm hopeful the wires will be for a 3rd brake light. Thanks Neil, still not sure how to use the neoprene bullet, I might just keep it on my desk too...!
  10. Hi AC, thanks for replying. I'm glad it's not just me unable to work out what to do with it! No, I haven't bought the sub-loom yet, as my 2008 Roadsport has 2 unused female spade connectors which come from the offside light/brake cluster & which I hope I can connect the new brake light into - though I haven't tested that yet. If these unused connectors are not for a 3rd brake light I'm not sure what else they could be for? Pic below.
  11. Hi Jonathan, yes that's the one! (Can't work out how to attach pic from my iPad) Phil
  12. I have CC's high level 3rd brake light kit (for use with spare wheel) & I have this neoprene bullet shaped part that came with the kit. Can't work out what it's for, can anyone help? (polite answers please!) Thanks, Phil.
  13. Oops, posted twice..
  14. I have a Canadian 25cent coin on my key ring, it's a perfect fit!

  16. I think you had the hood up? Couldn't see what 7 you were driving. I was in yellow Roadsport going the other way. I managed to wave, change gear and indicate to change lane, all at the same time (sort of). Cheers, Phil.
  17. Just managed to squeeze past that truck! Great day for a blat, if a bit warm!
  18. Nice pic Blokko! Mine is the yellow Roadsport & MadCat52 owns t'other. Weather in Inverness was fab, now on the west coast where it's not ...
  19. Yep, that was me taking my Roadsport out for its lockdown exercise.
  20. Reg. C7 ??? Half hood on braving the rain, 3pm, heading towards Henley-On-Thames.
  21. On short stretch of dual carriageway heading towards roundabout junction with A3290.
  22. A sunny walk through the New Forest, you were following a timber-framed car. Gave you the thumbs-up and you waved back. Lovely day for topless motoring!
  23. Hi Dave & Dan, I am also a fairly new owner and bought my Roadsport last April, having thought about it for a few years! I live in Woking. If you haven't already, why not come along to the twice monthly Surrey Area meets in Effingham/Banstead? The group is planning various blats and day trips for 2020. Alternatively, happy to meet up for a blat with you both once the salt has gone - and it stops raining! Cheers, Phil
