  1. About the only option too... Until Nova gets going at least...

    Noisy Rear End

Same here. Loose radius arms make it sound like the back end is about to fall off.The only thing I've ever found to be loose too. Easy to check if you don't have tilletts seats...🤪
  3. I don't know what is more cool: 1, the fact that we're part of a community full of the sort of people that would know about this. Or 2, the fact that some one would have a gauge/tool to hand AND know how to use it!!! You're all brilliant people 😎 🍻
  4. Yup just found the zoom function! I can see now. Great thanks @K7 VCT and @Beagler
  5. Sorry @Beagler no reply showed up above! Would love to the answer if you’ve a mo 👍
  6. @Beagler what Throttle bodies did NHM fit for you please? I can't tell from the pics up the thread. Thanks in advance Kris
  7. I use a Ryobi pump with my drill/impact driver batteries. Works really well so would imagine the DeWalt equivalent would be just as good. I use a separate digital pressure gauge, and just over inflate by a PSI or two and then drop it down to where I want them for the conditions/intentions... Either way I'd go for one with a clamp on fitting not a screw on, easier to get accurate pressures and since our cars are so sensitive to pressures...
  8. Seconded. I've been very happy with my conversion. night and day difference over 270/310 stock from CC... Excellent service. No hard sell, superb engineering.
  9. I had a premier power conversion on my sigma. EXCELLENT. The service and care is top draw, and the development and engineering is 11/10… go see them…
  10. Agree with Tim. Looks more like a load of pick up rather than scrubbing... And normal for a hot one. And if you've been properly set up, which it sounds like you have... I'm no expert on pressures - There is an Avon guide in the docs section on here. I usually start 18/19 cold (for 13") and adjust as you say. Avon say 22-27 HOT for the ZZS... Have a look HERE

    620 ZZS tyres

Demon tweeks have stock of 13x6 and 13x8 ZZS sizes... Getting pricey mind.
  12. I asked Caterham about Avon availability at the club brooklands event. I missed Bob the CEO sadly... Their response was more or less as per the press reports in Autocar, motorsport etc. No one from Avon/Goodyear/Cooper has actually said production IS stopping. Just that the UK factory is likely/will close and the staff are all going through HR process. There is still hope that the existing range will continue to be made elsewhere. Caterham are as keen as the rest of us for an answer and said they're looking and testing alternatives for road and competition use... I for one would certainly like to continue with my ZZS 13x8 and 13x6 mix...and would like to see the academy tyre and ZZR continue too... I know I'm not alone!
  13. Premier Power throw the standard airbox in the bin... Tells you all you need to know! They fit something very similar to the above pic...
  14. Agree. Though I do balance my 7 with a 1972 B GT which is tax exempt... So feel I have no place to complain... Also... Our family PHEV is £550 and we drive that everywhere in electric only mode... so in that context, £325 for a 'dirty old Seven' is a billy bargain.
