Neil220
I'm looking into a lower floor for my car, a 1996 S3 K series Supersport.I've read several threads about this but I don't understand why CC don't sell one for my car? They sell "LOWERED FLOOR PANEL RHS S3 PRE 96 AND 2001 ON"Can someone explain what is unique with 1996 to 2001 cars and why a lowered floor isn't available? Wrightpayne
Just speak directly to Arch motors - sort of thing they'll fit while you wait on a Saturday morning!

Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted August 8, 2021 Leadership Team Share Posted August 8, 2021 Definitely speak to Arch, there's quite a few variations to the lowered floors depending upon the chassis. My '99 car has a slightly different a-frame mounted beneath the bulkhead bottom tube, rather than behind it. This meant the lowered floors needed small recesses incorporating to fit around the a-frame mounting point. Arch will advise on the exact panels you need.Stu. simon_h
I saw on one of the Facebook groups the other day someone had a lowered floor supplied and fitted at arch in the last couple of months. It was in the region of £375 per side I seem to remember.
Tazio
My install cost included the purchase of the floor too, but it was a while ago...
Mrb00ns
I paid £420 at sevens & classics last week for drivers side. It was a little more than Arch (I think they charge about £360ish) but more convenient for me - they also gave me a hire car to use whilst the car was with them for the day. Neil220
Thanks everyone for the information provided. Still no idea why CC don't sell the lowered floors for 96 to 2001 cars though! Doesn't matter, I shall take it to Arch.
