CJH
Hello from a new “boy”. I am mid build of my car orange310.co.uk and wondered if anyone local had done a similar build recently? It would be useful to swap war stories and to take a look at a finished car to give me some pointers.cheersChrisApologies if this is in the wrong group. Couldn’t decide if this was chit-chat or technical but as I am in build I went with the latter.

Member Jonathan Kay Posted February 24, 2019 Member Share Posted February 24, 2019 Welcome.Couldn’t decide if this was chit-chat or technical but as I am in build I went with the latter.Good call. That hyperlink is:orange310.co.ukOn my iPhone using a 'phone network that takes me to the ISP's security splash page. On the same iPhone or a MacBook using ADSL at home it works fine. This has cropped up before but I don't think I ever saw an explanation.Jonathan

CJH
Yes, it’s me that is “in build” hence the wide body chassis and lower floor. The car is in build too.i think the issue is that the site was built by my son in Wordpress and by default is an http site not https. Some companies block this for security. I will get it a security certificate and then I think it will work normally.Glad you like the blog guys. I have a few updates still to do. Starter motor, cooling pipes and prop shaft/rear axle next on the list. Got to find the bl**dy throttle cable first though.
