How do you carry a half hood when not in use?

I've recently acquired a half hood for my car. As you'd expect it's so much easier to fit but how do you carry in/on the car when not in use? Just stuff it in the the boot or use a bespoke carrier?

Thoughts/experience and any photos would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I have a softbits halfhood with the cover Jonathan mentioned. If the boot is full and/or the forecast is poor, I have the hood rolled up on top of the boot cover.

With a good forecast and empty boot, I tuck the hood inside the boot, but keep the straps attached *smile*

Generally rolled in its sheath, with golf umbrella tucked into loops.

If showery on trip, rolled into boot, straps ready fixed for quick deploy.

Never used full hood.
