I chose it mainly because Caterham mats don't fit lowered floors properly, but it is lighter and thinner and easier to fasten poppers to.I cut a paper template first and then cut the mat to suit. A very easy job. I also use it on boot floor. It is much better than carpet which gets wet and takes ages to dry. Also helps a little to stop things sliding around the boot. The other day I used an air line on the dry floor to clear out any dirt along the joint with the chassis and was horrified to find water hiding in seam.
