Quaife ATB LSD (or other?)

Well I've had a look through the archives and read about the various types... The ATB just seems to fit the bill. No worries about preload, seems to be reliable and will be for my modest power, and will probably bite less harshly when it goes awry. I don't plan on doing so much track work and bouncing wheels in the air so that's not a massive concern.

I see Burton have them for about £640 which seems reasonable too. If I can save a bit by getting one that's being upgraded, all the better as I'd like to do a few other things over Christmas!

Take a look a 3J's NXG,

Design and made by the guys who used to be at Tran-X before the brand was bought by Quaife.

Dan Jones was always keen to help and I got good discounts by buying direct whilst he was at Tran-X, he happily built mine to my spec of ramps and preload

I would suggest 45/90 with around 10lbs preload for a 7 for a briskly driven road biased 7
