  1. Ha ha . Not enough oil stains to be a xflow. baz.
  2. Started the crossflow for the first time since July. Drained and changed the oil, removed the plugs and turned the engine over on the starter to get some oil around. Refitted the plugs reconnected the coil and tried to fire it up. No interest in starting despite fuel pump working, I thought here we go and then realised I hadn't put the plug leads back on. Officially old git material now. Baz

  8. Currently have yokohama AO21 tyres that are eleven years old. These look really good as the car has had little use and lives in a garage, loads of tread depth. They are 185 70 13 . Looking for replacements it seems that this size is not very common, so what are all you classic super sprint people fitting? Thanks baz.

  11. Can anybody tell me the correct size, width and thickness, of the self adhesive foam tape for the nosecone to bonnet joint and the scuttle to bonnet joint. Mine is completely crushed and slipped so struggling. Also any recommendations on where to purchase from. Thanks in advance baz

  16. HWS have you got an electric fuel pump or the mechanical pump? The latter will require a lot of cranking to fill chambers. I use 7 or 8 plugs but find the 7 better suited to the 40mph crawlers around sussex. baz
