  5. strewth! guys you almost gave me a heart attack when i saw this. had to go to the garage and check the millage, so unless they did a" Ferris day off" job on it, it was not abi or tash.Even i don"t take it out when its this cold. Baz and Sue (currently detoxing after wightblat).
  6. hi pete, poets days dont exist anymore on edf.been following the sunday blat thread, the breaky sounds good, the 6.30am start does not! on the basis the battery would not even prime the fuel pump last night! i will let you know about sunday. bazaroo. ps. what do you mean noddy van, have you know thats pride of the fleet.

  10. Bonjour to the french caterham spotted exiting the semaphore car park on tuesday. Green and ali. What a stunning part of the world to be driving a seven around.
  11. Spotted by my better half. blue with yellow stripes. she very muched approved of the colour in the bright Eastbourne sunshine. baz and sue.
  12. hi, crossflow with facet pump.the pump is wired through the master switch and into a three position switch, which allows prime, run, and off. the run supply is then run to an oil pressure switch. i think this switch is possibly the cause of a long term headache. i will rig up a test light to check the switch but wondered if anyone else uses this set up , and where i can get an oil pressure switch. any advice welcome. barry.

  16. The better half came across CC doing a photo shoot at Beachy Head today. 2 orange sevens, a Grand Cherokee,a BMW, and something 'sporty looking', she wasn't sure!! She tried her hardest to get in the photo, so apologies to CC for ruining their shot! Hopefully they saw the L7 club sticker in the window.

  19. can anyone advise me where i can get a door mirror for a 97 standard door. the original has a solid base with bolt holes, 105mm centres,made by radyot. if these are not available what alternatives are recommended. thanks for any help. baz. getting ready for wightblat.

  22. Finally i have been SPOTTED. How good was it to get out and drive the seven again, hope you enjoyed your blat. Spotted one other seven and a very keen wave and flash from a very smart EXIGE. CHEERS BAZ.
  23. thanks for that. just fitted new ignitor and flame thrower coil. car flew for two 20 mile blats and then going to poole on friday developed exactly the same symtoms as this post. the new coil seemed quite hot, at a loss now as changed just about everything. barry.
  24. hi all, after following this thread about the tacho affecting the ignitor unit can anyone comfirm if a 1997 caterham labeled tacho would be a suspect. thanks barry.
