  1. Deal now agreed with Antonio for the seats and aero package so provisionally sold Half doors/ side screens still for sale....
  2. Seats provisionally sold to Antonio If it falls through I'll contact those who have contacted me in order interest was expressed. Aero package and side screens still for sale. I could be persuaded to split the aero package if someone just wanted the mirrors Paul
  3. Having sold the car it time to clear out some of the bigger stuff I still have left in the garage. Caterham Tillet Carbon Race Seats. Pair of seats with padded headrests in excellent condition and complete with adjustable (for rake) mounting brackets (drivers side also with adjustable runners). They came out of my CSR Superlight but I believe they fit the S3 width cars also (I measured 42cm at the widest point on both the seat base and shoulder height). Rubber harness hole strips fitted to all five seat holes. I swapped them out for leather seats for daily use (they went with the car when sold) so these have had limited use by me (two trackdays plus some limited road mileage) Tillet new price appears to be over £900 per seat. Looking for £1,150 ono for the pair with all fittings included (would need to be collected) SOLD T Aeroscreen Package (For CSR / SV) OEM Caterham aeroscreen and SPA mirror package (also Carbon). Centre mirror is flat and side mirrors convex. Mirrors in good condition but the aeroscreen has suffered some weakening at the point the centre mirror is attached. Also included is a pair of RIF carbon captive nut / interchangeable brackets so you can swap between aero / deflector and windsecreen quickly. These are unused and thus as new. Caterham price is circa £660 for the kit. Looking for £350 ono SOLD SoftBits for Se7ens side screen (for CSR/SV) - No, not carbon! 😬 Jill's finest creations in black vinyl (to match the boot material). Poppers are fitted so you would need to adjust if your car already has popper bases fitted . SBfS price is circa £90 so looking for £45 ono STILL FOR SALE Pictures of all this can be found here Thanks, Paul Edited by - apothecary on 11 Mar 2011 11:22:34 Edited by - Apothecary on 3 Apr 2011 12:06:00

  10. Alpole On my CSR 260 SL the oil cap is very tight even when the engine is cold so im surprised yours has come loose. I assume you have a metal cap? Paul CSR Superlight 260 Mclaren Orange Power by COSWORTH Pictures here
  11. Has anybody attempted installation with a Stack dash (fully integrated version) on a CSR loom yet?
  12. Baz, thanks for your email. I have left you a voicemessage on the first of the numbers you gave me. Paul
  13. Baz and Grebby - many thanks. Baz, YHM and post on your 'for sale' thread. Paul
  14. Baz, Thanks for your post on my other thread, Can I have first dibs please provided the CSR fits (which I assume it will if an SV does). Paul
  15. I'm thinking of getting a trailer for the CSR. Am I correct in thinking that the Minno-max and Amax are suitable? Needs to fit in a double garage but with 2x single width garage doors (2130mm or c7ft aperture if allowing for existing door frame). Have read past threads which seem to suggest either a Minno-max or A-Max AM-T-110 but just looking to double check for peace of mind. Any suggestions on which is best? Thanks, Paul CSR Superlight 260 Mclaren Orange Power by COSWORTH Pictures here
  16. Hmm, perhaps I should get the body shop to look first. I am concerned I could make it worse with my amateur attempts. Thanks for the advice
  17. Returned to my wifes run-around tintop and someone has kindly dented the nearside front wing and scratched the door . I have managed to clean up the paintwork with paint renovator, polish and wax - now no visible scratches or other marks now remaining - but the dent is still there and staring back at me. Paint is not broken thankfully . As the car is less than a year old I do want to sort it out. I could go to the local body shop but the dent is not too large (just annoying as I know its there) and I'm tempted to have a go myself. Its either a case of wheel and arch liner off and attempting to flatten out from the back (the panel is very thin and accessible) or another method. Has anybody tried the heat and cold ice approach? I understand that by pre-heating the panel and then applying CO2 freeze spray the panel is likely to pop back into shape - Has anyone any experience of this method and if so does it work / what are the watch outs 🤔 Any suggestions on suitable freeze sprays 🤔 I do wish people would take more care with other peoples property - obviously the culprit did not leave any message Any advice gratefully received. Paul
  18. Stef You could always talk to Jill and Nick at Softbitsforsevens who are extremely experienced at adapting tonneau's to fit head rest pockets etc. They are in Sussex but postage makes it easy. Highly recomended Paul
  19. And well answered too ...thanks Nick On checking the ride height I think it would take far too much clearance away if I used channels on a lowered floor 😳
