Hi -
Banged my head on these hanging up in the garage - I have a pair of these with the SVA Carbon look cycle wings (and a brand new spare wing) - see here
£80.00 for the lot
Cheers

1800 K series engine (only!) - High Spec
Pistons – Accralite
Steel Rods – H–pattern (sourced via QED)
VHPD crank
VHPD Head – ported
Ivey Big Valves – 32.5mm inlet / 28.5mm exhaust
Cams – Piper ARK BP300M
Titanium Valve retainers
Verniers
Caterham dry sump pan
Fully balanced
Uprated oil pump
Fuel rail (no injectors – can be sourced)
Jenvey Throttle Bodies (** can be bought less these)
It doesn’t currently have a flywheel fitted
The engine was built by Nigel Keats (Cougar Engineering) and rolling roaded at Mech Repairs in 2006 producing 209 BHP (213bhp with no air filter!). Torque figures to be confirmed. It was built as a ‘no expense spared’ engine!
It was used for 5 hill climbs at the end of 2006 and around 6 at the beginning of 2006 – it has done less than 1,000 miles since being built - I only removed it to fit the 224bhp K-series now in K88 RUM.
It was set up on DTA engine management – not included – although the map can be.
Looking for around £3,950 for it – you couldn’t build it for this! – or, if you want it without the Jenveys it would be £3,450
cheers

Hi Selling for my father who bought this in France, now surplus to requirements
it's an SDMO generator - very similar to this here
the key difference is that it has a Briggs and Stratton engine. It's petrol powered, had very low usage. ideal for outside work - probably too noisy for camping!
£95.00 ex carriage (Based Midlands)

well spotted Dave!
I don't think I'm going to get too used to that feeling though...Ash is a very determined driver...he beat me at Shelsley last weekend...though I did warm the tyres nicely for him!!
cheers

why aye man...like real Buddah...or at least one of those little chubby oriental deities! 😶🌫️ Cheers Jon...I am committed (or should be ?)
The answer is not many miles (!) I do around 12 events a year and drive to 1/2 of them in the car - so a couple of thousand per year (that's how many miles are on this engine). The car has been constantly maintained, no expense spared.
I did prang the car in 2003 and had a short front from Arch and new wishbones on the driver's side. If you are interested, you need to see the car really - happy to talk it through on the phone - drop me an email and I will send contact details.
Thanks for the interest!
Hi Gordon - of course if I do end up giving it away then you will be first on the list
Thing is, apart from one driver training day in April, I'm unlikely to get much chance to use it this season as I am fully committed with the single seater. So, extra garage space would be good. Actually, I have been doing some investigation and it seems I may be able to mothball her in a friend's garage - so, if she doesn't sell in the next couple of weeks that is what I will do!
Thanks for the BTTT!
Hi - Just to say that the HSA sprint at Curborough on 13th April still has some availability. Ideal if you want a low key event to have a play at following your winter mods!
If you are interested, call Tony Fletcher (office hours) on 01562 754243 and he will send you an entry form – you will need to act immediately though as he will process the entries for the event on Monday 7th April.
Click here to see details of the HSA championship. Note that you don’t need to be an HSA member as there are invites for a whole bunch of clubs that apply.
Hope this helps.

Hi Neil / All
Yes, thanks for an excellent day. Fabulous weather for February! Everyone was very sensible, no mishaps and the whole day ran very smoothly, which is impressive so early in the season!
Thanks for putting up with Ash and I in the Pilbeam - first drive for us and very interesting! I have not driven on slicks before - brilliant!
Look forward to seeing some of you at a few events this season!
Cheers
