  1. Now that my long term future in the US appears to be set, I'm letting go of stuff that was previously in storage that I'd kept just in case things didn't work out. Some of the stuff listed is heavy / bulky so postage may not be feasible. Where possible a pick-up or GONADS would be preferable, but we can always look at postage if needed (at the cost of the buyer / by negotiation). Photos / more info on request. 3 Crane dry bags (yellow). I believe them to be 44 litre with approx dimensions of 72x47cm. £15. Pair of 7-pin AutoCom Yellow Peltor headsets. They used to crackle intermittently (when adjusting the boom mic) - presumably just a loose / dry joint. The cloth cover over the microphones are on the grubby side - I believe that replacements can be sourced. £25 for the pair - SOLD Single 7-pin AutoCom Yellow Peltor headset. In slightly better condition than the above - no crackling from the boom mike when last used. £15. - SOLD Pack of 3 rear light lens as per bulk buys previously arranged by Tim50 (as per this thread). £10. - SOLD Anson 1/18 scale diecast Caterhan Super 7. Green with yellow stripe. Never been out of the box - model is still taped to the stand. Box has a few minor marks. Still working out a price for this one - I will update shortly. Bburago 1/18 scale diecast Lambo Diablo 1990 in blue (code 3028). Model is mint, box has minor marks. £20. Bburago 1/18 scale diecast Ferrari 360 Modena in yellow (code 3368). Model is mint, plastic cover on box is split. £15. Hotweels 1/18 scale diecast TVR Speed 12 in green (code 50429). Model is mint, box has minor marks. £20. Bburago Ferrari 348 1/18 diecast metal kit in red (code 7039). Still trying to work out a price for this one and may withdraw it from sale as I'm really tempted to build it. Bburago Mini Cooper (2001) 1/18 diecast metal kit in red (code 7079). Still trying to work out a price for this one and may withdraw it from sale as I'm really tempted to build it. L7Club branded black shoulder bag. Ideal for carrying your Momo wheel. $10 - SOLD Interfit EX150 home studio flash kit. Purchased just before moving out to the US (from memory, £220), so only used on a handful of occasions for some macro and still life work. Would be ideal for someone looking for a cheap home set-up for this sort of thing or for portraits. £70. Men's Hippo Golf Clubs (right hand). 3 through 9 iron plus sand wedge, pitching iron, driving iron, 3 metal woods and a couple of putters. I'll also include the bag (obviously) with a number of balls, tees etc, golf trolley and, if it is of any use, a pair of white Adidas SSE Comfort golfing shoes, size 10.5UK (retail at £50). Ideal kit for anyone looking to take up golf. £100. Humax FoxSat HD Satellite Digital Box. Boxed with instructions and remote, little used. Ideal if you already have a dish with spare LNB connections and don't want to pay Sky multi-room costs for accessing the free to air content (such as BBC, ITV). £20. Humax FoxSat HD Satellite TV Recorder. Boxed with instructions and remote, little used. Twin tuner, 500GB hard disk. £80. Brother HL-2135W mono laser printer with WiFi. £20. Pair of Tannoy Mercury M2 Cherry bookshelf speakers and heavy duty black speaker stands (each stand weighs in excess of 30lb). The one stand has a small dab of white paint on it - never really tried to do anything about it, but it may be possible to remove or to cover up with a bit of black paint? £80. Arcam Alpha 7 cd player. Missing remote and the display sometimes blanks out (there is a high, low, off toggle button for the display and pressing this a few times brings the display back). £30.
  2. Having a clearout and I have pretty much every edition of Low Flying from April '07 to some time in 2014 - circa 90 magazines. Too heavy to post and I don't have time to sort out odd copies that people may be missing. If someone could pick the job lot up from my house in the West Mids (mid way between Walsall and Cannock) then they would be welcome to them.
  3. Phil lives close to the Dukes Pass, so he has the ideal road to drive and a great excuse to ride up and down the route until the light issue is sorted I guess it is tough to find time between deluges of rain and grass cutting duties
  4. Jonathan - tried both ways (i.e. linking directly to a url and uploading a file to the BC web server. The upload to the BC web server works fine, but I cannot then use the image (the error screen was inserted using IE).
  5. Steve, thanks for the pointer - unfortunately I still cannot upload, despite using your workaround. The error I get is as folows -
  6. Does not appear to work. In a reply to a post in ChitChat (containing text, a url link and an image) I got an error message when I committed. When I subsequently edited the post to add the image back in I didn't get an error, but the image was not present. When I flipped over to IE using the same image it uploaded ok. The image I used is http://www.discoverdudleyevents.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Flag-resized.jpg Need to go out now, but will try to recreate to get the exact error message when I get back....
  7. Here is the same test using the same image in IE http://www.discoverdudleyevents.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Flag-resized.jpg
  8. Cool t-shirt, Tim. Think either would be a great basis for BlatChat users
  9. All will be revealed, when I finally get round to finishing off the Camtasia file.....
  10. Making a conscious effort to use the forum a bit more. Largely echoing what has been written above, the areas I'd like to see addressed are - Ability to create a signature Quoting should include the original quote that is being referenced. Would be nice f this was easily editable as some times you just want to pick out a sentence or paragraph rather than the whole post Resolving posts being repeated / lost when moving between pages SCAYT spill chequer to default to on rather than off 'Member since' to reflect BC join date rather than date of port to new platform (low priority) Re-establishment of some sort of posting stats so we can sort the posting whores from the lurkers Above assumes that progress is being made with searching and restoring links for the content that was ported over from the original BC site. I'm encouraged by the fact that we now seem to be discussing secondary functionality rather than really fundamental stuff - thanks to Shaun and co.
  11. Playing around with this some more, and I've managed to get some of the posts from page 1 repeated on page 2. I'm logged into the website and I'm using the active tab to display 20 threads from the ChitChat area. Page 1 above - look at the last 5 posts.... Above we have page 2 with the first 5 posts being a repeat of page 1. I have closed an re-opened the browser, cleared out the browser cache and logged out and back in again from the club website. In each case I have seen the same behaviour as above. When I switch from 20 posts per page to 50 posts per page the above 5 posts are not repeated, and when I go onto page 2, the posts at the end of page 1 are not repeated. Not sure if it is relevant, but I came to my browser this morning from the laptop being in a hibernated state. Not sure if this has any relevance with regards to caching. Update - I logged into the same page from my Windoze fone and I'm also getting the post repeat on page 2 - which tends to suggest something server side rather than being browser driven...
  12. Parked up at a car show near Admiralty Station.
  13. I'm just dipping my toe back into posting on BC after a period of "lurking". I have also noticed that the main page of ChitChat does not appear to be up to date. I presume that the problem is that F5 refreshes the browser without going back to the server to grab the latest content from the database. My hypothesis is that data is not grabbed unless you hit the "Apply" button next to the Items Per Page dropdown. Will try to test and report back....
  14. Although I have a backup plan for a family member to handle the car sale once I'm abroad, I'd sooner sell the car before I move away if I can. With this in mind I'm now looking for £8,500 ono.
  15. http://www.lotus7.club/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/thumbs_up.png I think list is about £14k - from memory I paid about £13k. Initial depreciation has been a bit depressing - would never have purchased the car if I'd known I was going to be moving to another continent :-)
  16. Note, slight price reduction... Photos now available here on AutoTrader http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201410047946445/postcode/WS33WG?atcide=emc-cars-FTL002

  20. A second post with the same subject line.....
  21. I just want to see what happens if you create two posts with the same subject line. "Today's idiot" seems to be a common thread title :-)
  22. Just gonna give myself a BTTT here as it appears that your post doesn't appear in the list until it has a reply http://www.lotus7.club/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/confused_smile.png
