Yes it was I and we do work for the same company... our lass works for the company at Wendover 😳 and has seen your Se7en on several occasions. You’ve passed me a few times and I’ve flashed but have had no joy in getting your attention so flagging you down was a last resort … Please keep an eye out for me as I do the same route from time to time. Dave, I’m very interested, just a few questions though… is it an original JPE Aero or an aftermarket reproduction and can you see through the Aero or is it matt/solid? I’m 6 foot and have a long cockpit 7 which might allow me to get nice and low, so seeing through it might be an advantage… but not the end of the world. Rich, on a recent trip to the Ring I experienced a similar type of problem and had addressed the tyres (R888) and tyre pressures, the suspension had been take care of via Freestyle and I run with wide track and anti roll bar. After careful examination of my previous laps it was indeed over exuberance that was the cause of my understeer, so I did as suggested above and adapted my approach. Geoff, I agree with Slipper man and Bri. From new six years ago, I would choose one last run for the year drop the oil replenish and put to bed. Last year I changed tactics, and for the money involved ran over the twelve months. Having your pride and joy lay dormant during even one crisp and sunny winters day, as long as we get one, is sacrilege! The advantages out way the path of least resistance!!
