Rich, I just cant wait to use her in anger!! 😬 The thought of getting the head work has entered my mind but the cash flow inst as good as the air and exhaust flow at the moment !!! Instead of posting new, Id just like to thank those involved, Dave at Powerspeed and Dave of DVA… and all those listed in the above post!! I went for the 4-2-1 and opted for the K04 from Dave… I collected the Se7en from DVA last night with the final upgrades carried out and found it hard to construct a sentence with enough superlatives in it to truly convey how the car has changed!!! The two have complemented each other perfectly. I head out for the Ring on Saturday morning and can’t wait to push the envelope in order to truly experience the modifications. I have two x Dave Clark H10-76 headsets used by NATO ground crews. They are low impedance 10 ohms and have the NATO plugs on the end. Right, I want to use these in the Se7en and so far have confused the hell out of what might have seemed an all-together easy task. Changing to a jack plug with compatibility, easy, you can get converters… it’s the impedance and box of tricks that has thrown in the spanners!!! Could I use a Pilot PA 200 or something similar? “Help me Obi Wan Kanobi you’re my only…. Oh and impedance If you’re behind me and can read this, its because I’m letting you.... Grubbster, Cheer’s for the first class information, the clarity has made the choice so much easier. I think a trip to DVA and a chat one on one will see me with a wide smile. I have only the decisions on what components to choose in order to affect the required results. New or used is always a clincher especially when as mentioned before, £ for bhp… I have had some kind offers of used components that would give me the gains I require but its combining the mixed bag and being happy. Gents I’m a little bit ahead of the drag curve, I have ditched the old 48mm throttle body for the 52mm and have also retained the aluminium plenum it was attached to rather than that plastic thing that was under the bonnet. I have also replaced the standard Roadsport 14” wheels with 13” shod with R888. Mr May of Freestyle has worked his magic on the suspension… The exhaust sounds like a good move, coupled with a few engine modifications i.e pulleys. Thing is I don’t want to undo any modifications at a later date because I didn’t think things through. Id like 150 / 160 bhp that goes well, stops well and to be honest that would do me. Look ladies and gents, I’ve got the dosh burning a hole in my pocket and I must confess it’s taken a while to save it… I have been promising myself a few up grades for a few years now and haven’t done anything about it!! I run a road Sport (see the link) and would like better brakes, exhaust and performance if you had £1500 to spend what would you buy and from where???
