    6sp box problem

Hi Mark, and thanks. Phil looked at it last time, so that'd be the plan if it comes out (which it sounds like it might have to). Cheers, Oli

    6sp box problem

POBC, My 6sp box keeps jumping out of reverse and doesn't 'clunk' in to gear as it did, especially in 3rd and 4th, although it doesn't jump out of forward gears. I am sure I have damaged or worn something, but I'm not sure what. Any ideas please? Is it most likely something I'll need the box out for or is it worth investigating by taking the tunnel cover off and peering down? I only had the box out just under two years ago, but with a fair bit of recent track use that may be irrelevant. Thanks!
  3. Provisionally sold, subject to payment and collection. Sorry Dan, but if it falls through I'll give you a shout.
  4. Thanks for the interest so far folks. Just to confirm, I'm not planning to take offers below the asking price of £1200. This is a great trailer which is well worth the asking price. I will throw in the hitch lock with it though, which is very insurer friendly and solid as a rock. Thanks, Oli

  6. Dan, Link to photos here, hope you're well... http://s1307.photobucket.com/user/Oliwright30/library/CXRs
  7. For sale are a set of CXR wheels in anthracite grey. 6x13 fronts and 8x13 rears, with standard ET24 offsets. The rears have some scuffs which could do with repainting but the undercoat is undamaged. The wheels themselves are in good condition other than the paint scuffs. Currently shod with soft ZZRs for sprinting but these are now three years old and have been used for two campaigns. Probably best disposed of, unless you want to hoon about on them until they melt (which would be fun). Photos can be taken for interested parties. £350.
  8. Yep, noted, but for modest gain and greater cost than with a K, I think.
  9. SOLD - Brian James Clubman trailer for sale - £1200. Brian James Clubman CM9-T-020 twin axle trailer with long ramps, centre deck, winch, jockey wheel, spare wheel & 4 x ratchet straps. Also included but not fitted at the moment (but can be prior to collection) - low level tyre rack & storage box. Bed is 3.3m long & 1.65m wide Overall length 4.55m width 2.10m (fits in most single garages). Fits an S3 easily. Good condition and used in the speed championship for a few years, so may be familiar to some. Also for sale is a heavy duty Bulldog lock, which is about as chunky as you could hope for. £75 wanted for that please. PM preferred in case I don't notice the thread. Thanks! Oli
  10. Just to clarify, Sigma's have to be allowed throttle bodies in 2&3 because the 150 Sigma engine comes with them fitted. The 140 may not, but that spec came after Sigmas were introduced to the championship I believe.

    Thanks!

With all that polish you'll slip through the air, Tony.

    Thanks!

Just a quick note to say thanks to those who organised and helped to bring the awards lunch to fruition today, especially the Bramall family. Thanks also to everyone for the close competition, the banter, the comedy and the friendship this season. It has been challenging but tremendous fun as always.
  13. Tricky this - there are so many engine specifications that it's difficult to find a suitable limit for all. With a reference power, how do you decide how much leeway to allow? I am broadly in favour of a power limit of 155 which would catch all, although that might also cause problems for some.
  14. Hi Richard, There are a few ideas for changes in Chris's email about the awards dinner. There was a PDF attached. Cheers, Oli
  15. The look on your face after that run was priceless, Simon!
  16. Me too please, thanks Jon.

Don't worry Rob. When you do find a gear lever, it's just a bag of spanners anyway. Or is that just me?

Jon, In summary, we camp in the top field and then drive down the hill to the paddock with trailers in the morning. Oli
  22. BTTT - Air con now refreshed and working a treat. Tyres checked and actually plenty of life in them. For sale due to impending change in family circumstances and a requirement for more than two seats. I certainly wouldn’t be selling otherwise. Porsche Boxster S (987) Registered 2006 Meteor Grey Just over 70k miles (Still being used.) Black leather Climate control Bose Sound w/6 disc CD changer Porsche PCM with DVD Satnav Cruise Control 20 inch wheels w/coloured centre caps Black roof Sports Chrono Xenon Headlamps Wind Deflector Always run on super unleaded during my ownership and last serviced by specialists AutoFarm at 64144 miles on 16/9/15. MOT until end of June 2017. Notable points: The climate unit’s temp and speed adjusters have slight scraping of the rubber surface, but nothing too serious. The central console has a few subtle indentations, presumably from the seat belt buckle. Again, nothing too serious. There is a Parrot unit installed for phone and ipod but the ipod element doesn’t currently work. Suspect a connection issue as it is a recent problem and the phone element works fine. I’m happy to answer any questions as best I can, so please feel free to PM me for details. £10,995
