  6. Suggest you try Historic Lotus Club, I think Lotus owners are more likely to be there than here these days
  7. Across top I have 75mm and other 2 are 90 No markings on motor , but this looks very similar but no idea of size https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-F100-65-79-Heater-blower-motor-hotrod-classic-car/273858466650?hash=item3fc33c935a:g:vywAAOSwtOZcgUWR

  9. This is my S3, which is as built and original
  10. Volker Looking at your picture, the motor is correct , the holes are correct, and the fan is the right way round but your fan has too many blades. I would think the fan has been changed to improve air flow What engine have u got there? Nick
  11. I have a friend nearby with an S2 . I will ask him to respond. Personally i would put in what you can but leave it disconnected and put a new one the other side. If its not working pitch doesnt matter
  12. Hi Volker This is the same useless fan i have in my lotus S3 The good news is that it is also the same fan in my 95 Supersprint heater, so you may be able to source that from Redline or even caterham I may have a seized one if you are out of luck. On my S3 I use the old fan and also a new one on the other side of the radiator and it keeps the car cool Nick

  14. I have a 95 Supersprint. I would like to remove the steering lock including the ignition tumbler. Unfortunately I cannot get to see how it is fixed other than 2 threaded somethings so I do not know the tool to remove as I cannot see the heads and my phone will not focus that close. Help appreciated otherwise its an angle grinder
  15. Does anyone know where I can get this done Thanks
  16. Yup, I have had this problem Firstly make sure you have Redline MTL oil in your box, you can tell cos its red Secondly renew the saddle, which the gear stick fork sits on Lastly and the thing that sorted my box out was a new short shift stick which i bought from : https://www.tigerracing.com/shop/gearbox-parts/126-gear-stick-quick-shift-modified-to-length.html They will cut it to length for you

    Propshaft

Yup hot sticky slicks, think the radius arms are ok but gearbox mounting is knackered. Can find a new UJ Flange but cant find a new Yoke Sleeve

    Propshaft

Clive The whole bracket/bush mounting broke away, I was doing a Sprint, luckily the most force is exerted under braking so i actually wasnt travelling too fast

    Propshaft

I have had the A frame bracket detach from the rear axle under very hard braking at a hairpin on my 94 Supersprint. This resulted in the axle nose dropping down and thrashing the end of the propshaft on the ground distorting the UJ holes in yoke and journal. Does anyone know where I can purchase a new yoke and journal ? Thanks
  22. Agreed, dont bother, otherwise you will spend the life of the car doing it
  23. This will tell you the age of your engine http://toyne.org.uk/docs-age.html
  24. I just solder mine, cheap and easy
