  3. Richard, My VX had a similar problem, With a bit of hard driving it would always rattle from the followers, I changed all the followers to no av avail. I changed the sump foam although CC had done this 2 years ago, what I did find was the oil pick up pipe was touching the bottom of the sump pan, after bending it up and adding some Valvoline racing oil the problem has never returned even when on slicks. Maybe yours has a similar problem? Cheers Neil
  4. Mark, How much are you looking for and would the pistons want pocketing. Cheers Neil
  5. Ian, Assuming you have hydraulic lifters and a wet sump as I do. I had no end of rattling woes ☹️, I put in every make off oil imaginable. I found that that the oil pick up was touching the base of the sump after bending said pipe up and removing all trace of silicone from the sump have not had a rattle since including track days on new slicks. Hope this helps Neil
  6. Phil, Have you considered fitting mechanical gauges, they wont match the rest of the gauges spot on but what you see is what you've got. Regards Neil

  11. Rossy, Only want to pay £150-£180 or less, just for track so condition not a great issue. I also live near CC so dont want to travel to far a field 70 miles or so would be ok. Thanks Neil
  12. 6" fronts, 7 or preferably 8" rears x 13", silver would be better, as they are just for track condition doesn't need to be 100%. De dion fitment. Thanks Neil
  13. Pete, Intrested in dry sump kit, are you going to the Hatch tonight so I can have a chat with you. Cheers Neil
  14. Why not replace it with a mechanical gauge, they dont fail and if the temperature does rise you know its because the car is getting to hot, and they are cheaper. Neil
  15. Have you considered fitted a mechanical gauge with oil temp & pressure on the one gauge, Racetech ones work superb, and it is real pressure by capillary tube. Neil
  16. Steve, Dependent on work, (Arsenals new stadium) I would like to pick them up tonight if thats ok. I will give you a bell if thats alright. Cheers

  19. Got an aero screen for track use, got to change the full screen due to a rock the size of a small family hatchback hitting it at warp factor eight on my side, stick to a full screen on road I feel. Neil
  20. Got to remove my centre mirror that has been attached with the sticky stuff from hell, tried heat, craft knife down the back, petrol, thinners anyone got any suggestions other than a kango. cheers
  21. Dave Mine are 16" soft the wear rating is 50 similar to CR 500's Neil
  22. Dave, I run Kumho Ecsta soft they have a wear rating of 50 so wont last that long if you do loadsa miles and at £115 a corner aint excatly cheap, I did however do a few laps around Spa before putting on the 13" slicks and can safely say I was amazed by the amount of grip those 16 inchers gave.
  23. If its double sided tape holding it on, pour some petrol on it that will work without doubt and leave know mess
  24. John, I run 205/45x16 Kumho Ecsta V70A's they come in varying compounds (I use soft and have a wear rating of 50) I did a few laps at Spa before swapping to 13" wheels and can say they hang on very well. Problem is the cost at £115 a corner. Cheers Neil
  25. I think you may have trouble ringing Freestyle at present, they don't appear to be answering calls at present to mobiles or land lines. Fellow 7ener has been waiting weeks for his ARB. Neil
