  1. Thanks all. Will give Mr DVA a call. Assuming I can get it all together, who knows, I may be able to get a few blats in before the new year....
  2. Evening all After a couple of years of hibernation, I've got the car back in my garage and want to do a few bits to get it ready for the road again. Cambelt, not done one before, but doesn't look to difficult. Can anyone confirm the correct gates part number to replace a CDU2749. I think it's the gates 5416xs manual tensioner type? Can't get to the motor factor to check this eve, but want to get one ordered. Coolant, have had a long read through all the threads regarding this. Put simply for me, what do I need (1.6k) can't tell what's in there at the moment, except that's it's all a quite unpleasing brown Think that's it, have oil etc. It even passed an MOT last week, which was nice. Cheers
  3. Lucky you had the hood on!
  4. Morning All Thanks for the input, car is still here. £17k ono if you know of anyone who is after one..... Cheers
  5. Wifes car up for sale, sad to see it go, but we really don't need it anymore as she walks to the station... Any questions, drop me a line. Cheers here Assuming I have made the link to the PH ad work!
  6. A week or so ago, got the best spot in the car park as well....... Sorry, should say it was a silver one, very clean and made me quite annoyed that mine is laid up without an MOT at the moment Cheers
  7. Flashed you out at the roundabout and waved from a silver Disco, you both looked dry on a very wet morning!
  8. You were turning left into my road by the Hare pub. Don't think you saw my boy and I wave, or indeed heard him announce "Daddy, Tatahrum Accing Carrr" or "Caterham Racing Car", he's only two, how proud am I 😬
  9. First decent blat of the year and spotted..... 😬 Yes the sun was shining and for the first time in ages the roads were not only dry, but not coated in salt and other slippery nonsense. Mind you, I had taken the aero off, so the moment I put it back on it's bound to pour down! Colour for the record is Lotus Lazer Blue, looks pale in some lights, but quite an electric blue in others. Hope you had a safe journey home, long way from the Chilterns?? Cheers
  10. Did everyone enjoy the wind and rain last night Thanks Paul, you are a gent................although I now have grade A car envy 🥰 Happy Blatting All
  11. Thanks all As you can tell, it's not raining yet (well here anyway) QED I didn't get a battery 😬 I have a wife and 2 year old with flu, so have been busy being a model husband......... Paul, YHM Maybe i'll get out for a blat tomorrow? Have a good evening..
  12. Morning All Does anyone know where I can source a Banner in Kent?? Tried the usual suspects and nobody has stock (except for ajay in TW who want £69 +vat ) Any ideas? Cheers ps. If you want it to stay dry, you may want to ignore this as if I get one it will pour all weekend 😬

Well, thats something to look forward to then! All I need to do is wait for the temperature to get above 0 and I might have to break my car again Thanks for the feedback....

    'pods...

Having just invested in some rather fetching carbon indicator pods (thanks Toby ) I suppose I should fit them. As the car is in a very cold and uninviting garage at the moment, i've not been to have a look at how they go on/come off, any ideas? I guess its either headlight off (with the wires pulled through?) of off at the light support on the chassis? Cheers
