  1. Hi Steve, Interested, but would just like to know how old is it. Often up around Tetbury/Aston Down are they anywhere near you? Regards Paul.
  2. Hi Rich, I have a newly powdercoated bar, i think it came off a live axle car as it woon't fit a De Dion. Happy to send some measurements etc. Regards Paul.
  3. Saw it going back in the evening along the High Street in company with another couple of cars.
  4. Wanted for a chum of mine, a long shot I know but always hopeful? regards Paul.
  5. Thanks Dave, The matching 5AS and blipper will be on their way so hopefully problem solved. The only other route would seem to be to send all three bits off to Z and F tuning to get them synchronised, it would seem.
  6. The fuel pump primes and the immobiliser clicks etc. so behaving as per normal. Inertia switch reset. We have tried powering the fuel pump so as it is running all the time but the same symptoms persist. Engine fires and runs but almost immediately stops? It was suggested that the blipper would need to be paired to the new ECU but unsure as to how to do that?
  7. We now have power!! Immobiliser works etc. However the engine will fire and run for a second or two but then cut out, could this be due to fact that we are running without the water rail on and consequently the brown clip on connector (to the rail) is not telling the ECU that there is water in it and stopping it from running?
  8. Just completed an engine swap from EU2 to EU3, used the engine loom and ecu that came with the EU3. Everything seems to marry up but when connecting the battery leads nothing works? No immobiliser, no ingnition light etc. Only thing I noticed is if you connect the negative car loom wire on its own then we get a buzzing from what appears to be the back of the Tacho, when the other earth leads are connected it stops. Befuddled of Wiltshire
  9. anyone got a spare A frame that they are happy to part with, mine has a kink on the transverse tube near the pick up point!!
  10. Thanks Nick, awaiting a reply at the moment.
  11. Hi Mark, Headlight brackets please, let me know what postage will be or would it be possible to get them to Nick (Basset) who I am sure wouldn't mind passing them on? regards Paul.
  12. Hi Brian, Any chance of a couple of pics of the wheels please? Regards Paul.
  13. Around mid-day, green with yellow stripe heading South ***CCS reg. We were in the tin top going the other way, only saw you at the last minute. Would have been in ours other than we were taking loads of stuff for a family BBQ
  14. A chum of mine has discovered front offside disc has several cracks, radiating out, where the contact patch of the pads are. It would seem that Caterham and Redline are out of stock of discs, are they standard AP parts that he can source from elsewhere?? Thanks, Paul.
  15. First a 53 plate dark colour with bonnet stripes tucked in a queue of traffic near West Ashton cross roads going North, then about ten minutes later H reg on the Warminster By-Pass also going North. Coming back from Classics at the Castle??
  16. Thanks for the mail Bob but will pass as wanted the quick release type buckle.
  17. Are they the green or black Caterham badges ones, if black then I am interested please. regards Paul.
  18. I have some Piper Verniers which were originally for an engine upgrade, unlikely to use them now realistically so up for grabs? Regards Paul.
  19. Ideally a pair but most important is the offside one for a 2000 S3. Regards Paul.
  20. Was walking into Devizes to catch the 49 bus home (free bus pass ) after dropping one of the vans off for a MOT and then shooting off up to Guy's. Good luck at the Bath and West.
  21. I spotted three on Saturday 23rd during the day, all I can remember is that one was red, but all going East.
